I always watch your videos, we have also communicated at personal level and this has given me motivation as a beginner, currently I have a flock of 450 birds. Thanks Africhic
Thank you for sharing this sir, I have a question though , iam also a paultry farmer , I've just began My chicken are in the house one room, what do u put on the floor for the chicken to step on...were I stay other famers use coffee husks, others use timber extracts left by capernters...my question is, as u what do you use? Pliz answer me
I like what you're doing because thats what I'm planning to do very soon, got the land. Is it easy to correctly count 24000 chicken or its just an estimate ? Be encouraged.
Thanks pls. I see u have different breeds. Inquiring from u which one brings in money when reared for egg production .on hybrids ,Rainbow roasters and kroilers
Very good job but i highly disagree on the cages vs deep litter. European farmers are being forced by animal welfare communities that dont fully understand chicken. As someone whose transitioning from deep litter to cages i can say without a doubt that cages are superior by far!!!. The production to the management is much better and easier. When cage manure is dried daily it gets easier to manage it. All in all id rather deal with cage challenges than deep litter ones. i would also like to add that if the gentleman in the video indeed has 8 acres of usable space then the man can even keep 100,000 chicken in deep litter. 8 acres is about 300,000 sq ft. if a chicken only needs 2 sq ft then the space he has is big enough.
