Your videos have been so helpful. I'm a homeschooling mom. However, we are sending our kids to school next school year, and I want to make sure I cover everything so my 1st grader isn't behind in 2nd grade.
Your videos are so helpful! I'm currently doing my senior teaching internship and I plan to teach first grade after I graduate, I'm so glad I found your videos!
Thank you for another great video. My classroom is also using Math in Focus (Singapore math ) by Marshall Cavendish, grade 1. We only have work books. I try my best to find supplemental materials to help students learn the concepts.
I only have phonics ones along with my math ones at this time! Next year I would love to add some other grammar and literacy topics. The phonics ones can be found here: www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Phonics-Task-Cards-for-First-Grade-The-BUNDLE-growing-9923691
Hello!! Love your videos! Soooo helpful and your products have been great to use in class. I found the task card bundle. It still says subtraction to 20 is still coming. Will you be adding it to the bundle soon?
For the task cards, how do you check they are doing the work and not just clipping anything or looking at the answer on the back of the card? I don't think my first graders could work that independently. I typically have them work on something that I can check, like a center where they can show their work. I am typically working with a math group and I have other groups doing online math games, or centers that I can check.
Thank you for the great ideas! How long does it take you to do the math warm up games? I always struggle with having enough time for a game as a warm up. Also for your task cards, how long does it take you to teach them how to use each task card activity. Thanks again for sharing your ideas!
Great question! The warm up games only take about 5-6 minutes - the same length a math talk warm up would take! Once I teach the game (espeically ones like quiz-quiz trade or memory) it's nice because I can just switch out the skills! The counting game didn't take long either because it only goes to 20. When introducing a new set of task cards, I have students sit in a circle on the rug and show them how to complete 1-2 of each card. Most of them are pretty self-explanatory and it only takes about 5 minutes before I pair up students and have them play on their own
Hi. I need an advice. I'm struggling with my 2nd grader. At school she don't finish the work and she says she don't understand but at home she works with me and almost all the time she understands and do the work. What can I do to help her or what is really happening with her? I hope you can bring me some light?
I look forward to your Sunday videos every week! Thanks for sharing! A fellow first grade teacher :)

Thank you for your Sunday videos. I’m looking for your interactive calendar and tasks (bunny hop and more) for centres. Thank you!
I don't have the calendar for sale at the moment, but the task cards are all found here: bit.ly/SJTmathtasks
Hi Susan, where did you get your daily schedule magnets for your white board? Thanks so much!
Your Sunday videos are so helpful. Thank you for sharing so much information. Do you have your calendar available in your TPT store?

I look forward to learning from you each week Thank you for sharing! Can you please let me know where to find your digital calendar? I appreciate it!
Unfortunately I don't have the digital calendar available at this moment!
I love your videos! Your TPT store has so many great resources! Thank you!
I was going to say the same thing, you can teach counting on in the last box of the anchor chart with the number bond.
That's what I did! I was so bummed when I forgot though!
Are you planning to make your digital calendar available on TPT?
Thx I’m going to try this. My child’s having a difficult time learning math.
How can I buy the subtraction task cards shown in the video? Please advise. Love your videos and sharing your resources. Thank you !
Hi. Do you also have ELA task cards? I love your math ones.
Yes I was going to ask the same thing. I have math and my kids love them. I have your phonics ones but do you have anything reading related.

Do you have your task box activities in your TPT?
I do! They can be found here: bit.ly/SJTmathtasks
@@SusanJonesTeaching Thank you! I have added this to my cart!
Where do you get the boxes for the cards?
