בחתונה הגדולה בלוס אנג'לס השתתפו גדולי ראשי הישיבות ועסקנים מהעולם שבאו להביע את הערכתם ללבו הרחב של הנגיד ר' שלמה יהודה. .
החתונה התקיימה במלון הילטון המפואר בעיר .בחלק המוזיקאלי הנעימה תזמורתו הפילרמונית של איצי שוורץ בניצוחו של המאסטרו אברימי גור אריה . על השירה הופקדו הזמרים בערי וובר ואוהד מושקוביץ, שימחה ליינר, ברוך לוין , משה מנדלביץ ואיציק דדיה בלויווי מקהלת שירה מניו יורק .
