Hero Miao's ending is uncalled for and the way its filmed look rushed, but Mr. Lin acting was so good with the little emotions he showed but fully expressed it all. From another angle, this drama shows how human Hero Miao is, just a man living up to his justice and principles, not just some name or throne chasing invincible buddha.
I have watched three versions of this series, this Miao Renfeng is by far my favorite; can’t believe he beat out the first one I watched done by the great Mr. Tze Yin! I don’t even know the name of this actor, got impressed by him last time in the role of Yang Shiao too. Very cool and versatile aura he brings to his characters!! 👍
@@bbghost9918 thank you! He is indeed a very versatile actor. I am just surprised he is given so mature roles even though he is very young and good looking. Maybe it’s his cool look! 🤓. I believe he will be given more and more good roles in the future. Very good actor!!
@@beckyburton9749 What @Huangrong_1518 said. Miao has a daughter only. In any case, it was really sad and pointless. There was no reason for killing him off. He just reconciled with his best friend's son and got together with his wife and daughter. Just another way to pull at our emotions.
This is so sad 😞 why did Miao RenFeng have to die so brutally. These Chinese script writers are so psychotic, that they always kill off the good people. They take pleasure in unhappy ending, which makes me question their psyche.
This is one reason Alibaba founder Jack Ma wanted to get into filming business. As he said publicly, traditional Chinese movie storyline is all good guys die in the end. It's called good deed never go unpunished.
@@942WAxeO i have to take it to heart ❤ because it clearly highlights the injustices that many people endured for justice. @@beverley1962ify On a cultural level it shows MRF as a true hero in the vein of characters like Qiao Feng and historical figures like Ng Fei, sacrificing themselves for a greater cause. On a personal level its him redeeming himself for failing to keep his promise to his friend and not keeping Hua Fei safe for so many years. So his death should not be viewed as a tragedy but as him sucessfully honoring his duty as a hero and a friend.
That's in the sequel and it looks like they wanted to finish everything in one go. Hu Fei also ends up with the daughter so probably weird to show her as a baby and growing up to marry the 40 year old in the same series.
@@sws212 that's creepy and weird because in this series in a scene in miao renfeng flashback when hu fei mother was dieing she told miao renfeng that hu fei is their son which in the flashback you see miao renfeng and hu fei scenes together from a child to a teenager and the flashback ended when miao renfeng comes back in time to protect hu fei from Feng tian because if he had another child especially a kid their is no way he would give his life up when he have an opportunity to escape out alive with hu fei and others but he chooses not to. Also when miao renfeng comes to hu fei rescue he came up to hu fei and looked at him like he was looking at hu fei like a father looking at their child they never knew they have and miao renfeng flashback of hu fei mother calling hu fei their son and renfeng to protect him.

His name is Lin Yu Shen (or Lin shen). He first got noticed because of acting as Yang Xiao in 2019 and later as a funny CEO in a 2020 romantic comedy.

This is so unexpected Miao Renfeng doesn't need to die. Let the hero live with his wife and daughter peacefully ffs
I know but he gives his life to protect his son.
His late best friend's son, correction

@@beckyburton9749 That was his friends wife. She was referring to her and her husbands son. When you watch the show it is much clearer.

Why couldn't hero Miao Renfeng live and they write a sequel this? I wanted to see him teaching his daughter martial arts.
Movie Title please
It's TV drama not movie, Side Story of Fox Volant
If I don't see a body, is it true?...
