Don't compare Pakistan food with Afghan.... Turkish to some degree but not Pakistani bc Pakistani food is more like Indian spicy

The name of that particular ice cream is called Shir Yakh … made by hand , it’s made out of ice , milk , sugar , cardamom , and topped with cream ( qaimaq, or milk curds taken from top of milk )..shir - means milk , yakh - means ice .. shir yakh - it means icy milk or Afghanistan hand made ice cream . If you buy ice cream on cone produced from ice cream machine - this is called ice cram in Afghanistan.. but, the hand made ice cream is known as Shir Yakh… if you end up in a Resturant where they have both ice cream and shir yakh, and if you say “can I get ice cram “- they will give you the ice cream made in machine and served on cone .. but if you say “I want shir yakh”- they will make you hand made ice cream served with hand made cream ( the most authentic in the world )..

Afghan food is so much more than food ❤️ its pure love !! Thank you for presenting my beloved country and my people !! My heart hurts when there is no peace 😢
dont know if you will ready this but:
you should try dry meat in afghanistan. it is the best you can taste out of meat.
how its prepared:
1. cut the meat, especialy lamb meat
2. cover it with salt
3. hang it under the sun for several months until it dries out
6. wash out all its salt
7. cook lonely or with rice.
you dont want to miss this dish. you will love this.
you wont be able to find this meat in every season. only in dry seasons of Kabul you can find it. you should ask people when you come back again. looking forward.
they call it "goshte Khoshk" in persian or "wacha ghwakha" in pashto.
