hey! my phone antenna lines which is connected to the middle frame was ripped and the bluetooth and wifi doesn't work, if I buy a replacement middle frame would that fix the issue?
It should work with a replacement...But this is a shit move from Samsung to put those lines on the frame,especially outside where you use a tool to open the back. It just happened to me now and i will have to do the same as you,buy a middle frame. The phone is not even mine but definetelly not buying a Samsung product...Apple neither nor i recomend any of the two.
I thought the back was made out of glass, but it turned out to be shiny plastic. Tbh I prefer it that way, since plastic doesn't shatter nor dent.

@@dendethegrey I use mine with a case so it's protected it a lot, only has some slight scratching from all the dirt and stuff that got in between the phone and the case. Nothing major though, for 3 and a half years of use I think it still looks pretty good.

bro I have a question. 1:00 what will happened if the untenna line are cutted off? this previous technician put a lot of black glue to it, when I try to open the back cover some of it sticks to the cover.
It will cause the antenna not to function properly, so won't give you the best signal.

Just one question: what is the correct type of glue to be used to close the cover, or what size and type of adhesive tape should be used? It certainly need to be removabel again with thermal treatment.

This video is going to be my reference one day once I mod the phone's heat spreader to occupy most of the back and also swap out the thermal pads they have for copper shims and some thermal paste.
I got this phone, the main rear camera is so blurry like it's out of focus all the time, is the sensor broken and I need to replace it?
The ultra wide and micro camera work fine
Might be, or maybe there is moisture or debris over the lens that needs cleaning.

I have a samsung a31 and there is no screen response except the power and volume buttons... all the connector seems fine. But can you tell me the parts that relates to the screen?
Did you replace the screen? You might need to update the phone software to the latest software. I know without a working screen will be hard, you might need to use software on the computer and flash firmware onto the phone. Or you would need to use the previously broken screen if it works to software update the phone. If that doesn't fix it, then you might have a damaged connector for the screen on the main board etc.

@@PBKreviews mine is like it doesn't have a flat back. It's like it has a bloated part, it's in the upper part of the cable after you plug out the battery cable the one that has "MAIN" word in it.
I bought an LCD, the phone went 2 months without Charging or anything cz it was dropped and turned out black the whole screen, After Changing it the Phone didn't turn on!!
Whme charged like a whole day, but nothing happened.
What is you take? You advice on where to check, because the tech tried another 2 LCDs and didn't work, He checked the battery which has Power, But still can't turn on.

Maybe the display connector or a chip on the board got damaged from the fall, not sure.

Glad you got it working. Just make sure once you clean out any liquid inside, you also brush off any corrosion from chips or connectors with a old tooth brush or similar brush to prevent any shorts in the future.
Is it waterproof?
No, its not waterproof but does have some water resistant features like gaskets around connectors and some rubber gaskets around components but probably just minor splash proof. Would probably not survive being dunked into water.

what do you mean? you use the sim ejector tool to eject the sim/memory card tray

Hi, it can be two things. Either you dropped the phone and the housing clip has come undone (which you can press down and click back into place) or the battery is bloating and going bad and its pushing the housing outward.
If i replace the screen of my samsung a31, do i need to replace the lcd too? Or it was built with the screen?
glass and screen should be one piece, you can't replace just the glass.
Can it carge wirellesly?
It doesn't come with wireless charging as a feature for this phone. You would need to use a third party wireless charging coil which connects to your phone via the charger port if you really wanted to use wireless charging. Sort of defeats the purpose though.

I need a video on how to replace/ fix the connection of the power and the volume.
The connector for the power button and volume keys is on the back housing. That back housing needs to be screwed down properly so that flex cable touches the contacts on the main board to give it a connection. So if you're back housing is lifted up say from a drop or the screws are loose etc, it can cause an issue with it working.
Fun fact. All these phones use the same LCD. OPPO A11x / A11 / A8 / A5 (2020) / A9 (2020) / A31 (2020)
Can i use that blue wire cable 1:43 (antenna flex) on galaxy a7 2016?
Im not sure if lengths are the same but if its long enough, you should be able to use that coaxial cable.

In your opinion, is this phone durable ? Not easily bendable?
I am it's durable but not as strong as phones with a one piece aluminum frame which are stronger and more reinforced.
mine dosent charge how can i understand if its a problem of the motherboard or only thew charging port ?

Not sure you would have to test it out by replacing the charging port/sub board to see if it fixes the problem or not.

Hi, I'm not sure since its been a while since I did this video. Some backplates which are plastic have a laminate print layer over it which can be peeled off but usually plastic backs have the paint directly applied to the plastic so its not something that can be peeled off. However on most glass backplates, its almost always laminate layers that can be peeled off.
I don't know why there are videos where they show that the samsung galaxy A31 cell phone is submersible to water and in the user manual they prohibit it
Reason might be that it may be splash proof but there are no official ip ratings obtained by the manufacturer so the manufacturer can't advertise it as being water resistant because it won't be allowed to unless it paid for special testing to obtain ip ratings.
@@PBKreviews you certainly can't submerge in water. Mine fell into a storm water drain and now all it does is constantly reboot. I did take it to a repair shop, but they made it worse. now the touch screen doesn't work either :( They stated it cannot be repaired!

Can be a bad charger port or battery.
@@PBKreviews I too have this problem. Took to two different phone shops and they said it may be a motherboard problem as the charging port, ribbon cables and battery were fine and tested with a new charge chip set, ribbons etc. but still wouldn't charge. So a disrupted connection somewhere from the charging part to the motherboard. Both shops didn't specialize in Samsung android motherboards to replace or repair, so they gave back the phone free of charge.
