My daddy was an excellent guitarist. He loved and could play all types of music. I wish he was still alive to hear this.
Lots of fingerstyle musicians on RUclips but Alip Ba Ta's style is very composed, relaxed, unrushed yet precise and crisp. Like he has nothing to prove to anybody, just a fellow sharing his music to the world over a cup of tea and a cig.
What a beautiful depiction and arrangement for the guitar. He played with Freddie's nuances and bounced between classical and blues tones with such clarity. Glad I experienced it with you, Geebz.
