I’m going to Japan next week, and I’ve watched all your videos about places to buy Pokémon cards. I’ve got a lot of spots written down that I’d like to visit, especially in Osaka and Tokyo. I was wondering, if possible, could you recommend any other great places to buy cards besides the ones mentioned in your videos? If not, I’d love to hear about your experience in these shops and which ones are the best in terms of prices. For example, I’m looking for single cards or even boxes from Terastal Festival, 151… since it’s been pretty hard to find! Also, I’d love to find Sword & Shield era boxes in Japanese.

Why people buy proxy cards? Because we don't have money or opportunity to buy authentic ones, but we still love Pokemon and want to play and collect. I get myself a booster box every time I want to play with my kid, I know I can bend them, rip them, throw away and it costs only 15-20 (Aliexpress) dollars US for 300-360 cards. Not everyone can spend 200 bucks on 5 packs, you just have to admit it. So I'm really happy, that these exist, so even I'm not rich enough, but my kid gets all happiness from opening packs and playing cards with me.
