Same here. Especially that stretch of bush nicknamed "the sandies" which you can see 20:15 - 20:50. It's hardly changed since '92 (only the far end has grown bushy. You could see the houses on the other side of the pit when they show it in Part II).
@@adz24888 I think the concrete pipes were where the road crossed Black Creek, just a few hundred metres behind where Bunnings now is. I think that bridge disappeared yonks ago.

I was there as a 17y/o. My sister described it as the time the Olympics came to Cessnock. That's just what it felt like. The town has never buzzed like it since.
