    Pretty dope, nothing wrong with being organized! Aye Guru this is probably a bit of a stretch but any chance in the future you can make a video of cleaning & detailing an entire car? Like the engine bay, inside under the hood, exterior/interior of the car, buffing, etc? Pretty much everything you've showed case on the channel throughout separate videos but put it all in one video? It might be long but I would watch it lol

    Guru, you are super organized. Saw the draw cabinet only the other day in homebase and thought that would be great for keeping my towels etc in place and then I've seen your video and found you have beaten me to it. Love watching all your videos and find your level of detail so interesting and addictive.

    7:33 ‘I’ll be back’ said the terminator....excepts this one is played by Christopher Eccleston! Top videos though mate in all seriousness. I find the videos incredibly helpful but somehow...when you are scrubbing and brushing away on the car... it acts as a sleep aid. Something about the scrubbing and scratching noises makes me fall asleep. I struggle to sleep so it’s helped there also.
    Also to any haters, that’s not a dig, this guys is a top detailed and I’ve learnt a lot from his videos... just another added benefit for me when struggling to sleep.

    Can you do a video of what realistic results of paint correction (compound, polish, wax) those of us that have to do it by hand can achieve in a day?

    • @adamfreeman1219
      @adamfreeman1219 7 лет назад +2

      Daz Dee correction by hand is virtually pointless as it's impossible to really remove swirls in an anyway near sufficient enough pace to be realistic. A good hand polish can however brighten up a dull faded surface. Hth.

    • @laurenceh6827
      @laurenceh6827 7 лет назад

      Adam Freeman Fully agree mate. By hand you're better off with a product by Autoglym called "radiant wax polish" as it's more of a filler then a polish and although it's not removing the marks/swirls, it is at least covering them up.
      This is the product I had most joy with by hand. You're not gonna come close to a machine by hand, the difference is unbelievable.

    How do you clean your towels, cloths and wash mitts?
    I stick mine in the wash (not always on their own) and the towels always come out with bits of lint stuck to them. So whenever I go to dry my car it leaves behind little fibres everywhere. :(

    • @flemmingjensen3202
      @flemmingjensen3202 7 лет назад +2

      SGM 26 Always wash your microfibres seperately, or they will pick up lint! Use liquid detergent, never ever fabric softener, wash at 40-60° C (nice vs crappy cloths ;-) ), air dry or tumble dry at low heat. If possible seperate your drying cloths from wax/dressing ones to keep them working, sucking those liquids :-)

    Joe, could you please tell me where you got the plastic storage drawers from, or maybe what the dimensions are?
    Since this video came out, I've been trying to get a similar storage trolley combo together. The trolley wasn't much of a problem, but a plastic drawers unit with good dimensions? It seems impossible. Judging by the two Amazon links you provided, those seem much smaller A4 size drawers, unlike what you're using. I can't find one anywhere; locally, eBay, Amazon, online stores, nothing.

    • @harryazzole7814
      @harryazzole7814 7 лет назад

      lee bowen traffic film remover is pretty much he strongest cleaner that can safely touch paint, so it would be good to hit it with that before a full wash with a very lubricated soap. As far as protection, something like Meguiar's M21 sealant with their X-Press Spray Wax on top would be a good, long lasting combo.
