- Welcome to part 1 of my Kitchen transformation, we recently moved into our dream family home and our big plans for the utility and kitchen won't be happening quiet yet so I thought it would be a great idea to give this room a makeover.
It's been really fun to see it transform, I gave the tiles a porcelain effect using a gloss paint and we also had our worktop changed and replaced it with a marble/terrazzo effect laminate. It looks so much brighter and I can't wait to share part 2 with you. Make sure you are subscribed so you don't miss it.

You are doing such a good job, Liza; you are so confident with a paintbrush! The kitchen cabinets seem to be well made, and I'm sure will look beautiful when painted with the Farrow and Ball.

Love the counters (work top)!! They came out so lovely!! I do think the doors will look better with a tone of white (bone, ivory...those colors). Can't wait!!
I can’t believe what a difference those first few changes have made. It will be gorgeous when you paint the cabinet and change flooring. You’ve done so much in such a short time. Good job!
We did our house/ kitchen from brown wood to white, such a difference, we can't stop looking at it. Yours is going to look so good, can't wait to see it finished. It's a big job but so worth it.

I can't wait to see how the kitchen cupboard doors look after painted against your worktop. I have mine painted in Cornforth White and was thinking of getting just a solid oak worktop, but now I'm not sure. I think the stone effect laminate looks gorgeous and might be easier to maintain than wood :) looking forward to part 2! x

Hi Liza what a huge improvement to the kitchen.
Its gonna look great .I have shelfs each side of my cooker and they are wood with lights built in ,they look great at night

It’s looking beautiful babe , so clean and fresh looking , especially when you get to do the cupboards too , going to look fabulous 🥰, ( I hate that orange colour too , mine had it so I covered them 😬 ) , your giving me good ideas for when we move to, just a quick makeover on a budget too 🙌🏻. It’s so amazing how just a work top, new sink and lick of tile paint can totally transform the look already! The wall cabinets and floor will make your kitchen look brand new...it just goes to show what you can actually do without totally ripping the kitchen out. I think you are doing an amazing job. So excited for the next phase! Loved the video as always 💕 xx

@@lizaprideaux it’s made me think I might be able to very cheaply update my en-suite without too much hassle & has given me a bit of confidence! So I’m just deciding on what colour tile paint to paint over the boarder tile, find a cheap new sink and taps and will defo cover the sink worktop and paint the sink cabinet doors! Wish me luck! Got to persuade the husband first! 😂 xx

Looks great now. Glad you went with new worktops and didn’t wrap the worktops in the kitchen like the utility. When Mark does the sockets it will look so different. Hope you are pleased too, you should be it is lovely. Have a good week.
