Why do the ult. and rare perks change to white. It seems that we are now loosing some of the perks of the gun when we upgrade they become a flat white rate. Do those go up as you level the gun further or do they stay the same?
when i hit lvl 40 i got a quest saying something about limit break and after finishing that quest nothing really happen so im wondering if 40 is the max you can go on a character or is there a way to make it go higher
I levelled up my thunder cage doing the same to 12k dps now that i have my character levelled up the weapon did not level up in dps so do i need to keep using this exchanger item to level up my weapon again? No other way that the weapon level will go up?

You get a material that let's you expand the mod storage for that descendant. It's a one time use but essentially doubles the mod capacity.

I think at that point you have to enhance the unique ability but i still don’t know how people are getting over 200k dps for their weapons
Keep in mind you still have to level up the proficiency on all the weapons, that will give you mastery rank
