[ENGLISH DUB] The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast - Tokyo Disneyland

- I put the english version of the songs over a POV of The Enchanted Tale of Beauty of the Beast, the new dark-ride at Tokyo Disneyland.
I could not dub the castle attack scene, as the audio mix is more complex here (and I don't know the film that well to know exactly which dialogue line is which).

Breathtaking...Disney sure knows how to tell a story. They are masters at telling a cohesive story that builds anticipation using music.
I think the way this "ride' is done is very clever. I'm putting quotes around ride because it's less of a ride as it is an immersive, cohesive experience that starts right as you walk into the village. I'll put it this way.
Belle-Gaston takes place in the village area
Belle searching for her father and being captured takes place inside the queue of the ride
Be Our Guest-The end of the movie takes place during the actual ride.
yes, I felt the same way as I've actually visited the village in Tokyo and experienced the ride 2 days ago.
The ride is dedicated focusing on the love between Belle and beast. The ride itself was incredible and literary became my most favorite ride in TDR!

I kinda wonder how much more they could've added if this had been more of a classic dark ride than just spinning in a room. It would've been cool to pass by the library scene and have an actual Gaston fight.
This is a fairly tale ride. Don't
expect StarWars stuffs.
It doesn't feel right without a villain scene.
in japan they don't like that sort of thing, i heard it from someone who lives in japan.
I feel like a lot of the new rides lack villain climax scenes (Little Mermaid, Frozen even though it's supposed to be an epilogue, etc) even though it can really add more to the story.

the animatronics are amazing but I feel like they shouldve spent less singing The full be our guest and something there. We shouldve gotten more scenery and decor in scenes like outside the castle, where they use like a painting for the backround. They just should mainly add Gaston fighting beast
Aww 🥰 I think I would enjoy this ride/attraction. I’m really impressed with the animatronics of Belle and the Prince waltzing at the end.

Agreed. Where is the belle animatronic of her holding the lantern that they were advertising when doing the 'behind the scenes' of the ride. This is pretty mediocre
Especially the "there's something there" scene, it's soo empty they could do something to the room and add more props and backround things.

PSA: get on a plane and do this ride. It’s perfection. The building, the ride lead up, the ride itself - the tea cups whiz around quite a bit and really add to the momentum of the story line. Look out for the little details - the way the teacups gently nod to lumiere, how the tea cups come to an exact stop on the last note of music. Next time I ride I’ll try to play this video.

Would've loved to see the pre-show done, but at least you explained why. I get the feeling that while it's similar to the beginning of the movie, it might also explain Belle getting to the castle as well. That said, THANK YOU for doing the actual ride itself. Made the video of the ride even better.

I guess the preshow is the movie intro + the scene where Belle sees the Beast for the first time and ask him to step into the light.
But yeah, I made this video mainly for the songs.
Gaston's tavern should have been a must. I love the animatronics though.

They actually have a Castle for Beauty and The Beast , it’s nothing like this. I think it’s more for little kids where Belle just reads a story for the little kids
I don’t really like how didn’t include some other scenes like how Belle and the Beast met, but that’s because they included so many amazing animatronics!!! And that part makes it so magical.
Actually they do…. There is a whole other scene that happens before the ride itself
I know the songs well enough that I prefer the actual ride audio. Flip flopping to the movie soundtrack is awkward. But nice job for those that may need it.

They may have potential room - there’s a stage near the ToonTown train depot that’s on the edge of Fantasy Land that could work. Or maybe the open area between Galaxy’s Edge, Thunder Mountain, and FantasyLand with the last map I checked? 🤔🤔 fingers crossed for it to come to Anaheim!
@@anemated20Possibly,because they are getting rid of some stores in Toontown to make the mickey railway ride. I've been hearing a rumor about the Mr. toad ride,that they might get rid of it.Maybe they could replace it with Beauty and the beast.
I don’t think they’ll ever get rid of Mr.Toad’s - it was one of the original rides when the park first opened, and it’s the last “ride” version in all the Disney Parks worldwide. They won’t be able to get rid of any of the Fantasyland rides since a bunch of them are originals. You bring up a point about the stores - I heard the Red Rose Tavern might be another location option, especially if it will allow them to expand more into the open areas between the Lands🤔
Or at least Disneyworld, Disneyland can’t even fit the haunted mansion in 😂
Imagine a walkthrough the castle like the harry potter ride at universal telling the beginning of the story as you walk then the ride finished it
Looking at the comments on videos of this, that's actually exactly what this ride does. The surrounding village and the queue tells the first part of the story and the ride is the finale.
that’s a every cool and awesome ride
You would probably have to 3xperience this ride live to actually get the full experience

With the ballroom animatronics I wish they included Maurice since he was in the finale of the film.
Overall this is a great attraction

The bar/tavern scene is omitted on purpose because it clashes with and is offensive towards Japanese sensibilities.

Awesome how all of these new attractions are only overseas while the main parks in the US get refurbishments. The animatronics look incredible but thought there would be more to it.

I understand it has to be a peppers ghost effect, but it's the best use of it they've ever done. He doesn't look like a ghost. Usually there's some form of transparency.
@@keyman6689 I'm guessing that they used Scrim, not peppers ghost. Scrim is a pretty common theater trick, just made a little more complicated because it's spinning and 3D, but the beast looks too solid for it to be peppers ghost in my opinion

It's interesting they use the live action Beauty and the beast finale song with Audra Macdonald
That's actually just my version. But I don't know if in the animated film you have the choir, hence why I used this version which I found closer to the orchestration of the ride (which is unique anyway, I believe).

They didn't show the fight and I didn't see the father and whatever the bad guy's name was well I don't remember seeing him either just spinning and spinning and spinningThis is one weird ride. They left out so so much as they kept just spinning around and around in the same room. I am actually disappointed in something Disney for once.
The technology is great. The creativity with the space is not. Practical effects will always be more impressive than projection mapping.
