Card Benefits: The UDID card shall bring a host of benefits to the Persons with Disabilities as given below:
*Persons with disabilities will not need to make multiple copies of documents, maintain, and carry multiple documents as the card will capture all the necessary details which can be decoded with the help of a reader
*The UDID card will be the single document of identification, verification of the disabled for availing various benefits in future
*The UDID Card will also help in stream-lining the tracking of the physical and financial progress of beneficiary at all levels of hierarchy of implementation - from village level, block level, District level , State level and National level

Bhai mera bana hua hai but 3 mahine tak ka hi bana hai aur expaire ho gaya nenewal bhi nahi ho raha hai

यह जानकारी तोड़ी अधूरी है फॉर्म भरने के बाद जो स्लिप मिलेगी उसमे 2 से 3 सरकारी अस्पताल का नाम होता है जो आपके पता के नजदीक ऊपल्ध होता है ये स्लिप और जिसका कार्ड आप बनावा रहे हो उसको उसी अस्पताल ले जाना होगा वहा डॉक्टर उनको चेक करेंगे उसके बाद 2 हफ्ते मैं आप खुद कार्ड को डाउनलोड कर सकते
अगर चिकित्सालय में जांच के बाद शारारिक अशक्तता नही पाई गई तो... जैसे एक व्यक्ति ने आखों से कम दिखाई देने का कारण बताते हुए ये कार्ड अप्लाई किया, लेकिन चिकित्सालय में जांच के दौरान अंधेपन का प्रतिसत कम पाया गया, तो फिर क्या कार्यवाही की जा सकती है...
जबकि उस व्यक्ति को इस कार्ड की वास्तविक जरूरत है।

Very good information. After applying for UDID Card and certificate your application will instantly go to concerned(your nearest) Chief Medical Officer's Office. Within a few days(depending upon number of applications already there) your application will be approved by CMO's office and you will get another mail for appoingment with doctor who will access your nature and extent of disability. After this data will be uploaded to website and you will get your UDID card and Certificate.

I had submitted this application online and I got acknowledgement from the Ministry six months back but so far they have not issued the UDID Card. Now they say that I have to approach State Government hospital for the ID Card. If it is so then what is the purpose submitting the application to the Ministry.
