If I don't have iPad mini at all, which one is better for money ? I am getting second hand mini 6 in half the price of new mini 7. Condition is perfect, no signs of use whatsoever. My use is reading, some writing and mild media consumption and as a companion to iPhone SE 22. Anyone who has both Samsung Tab with pen and iPad with pen. Because writing experience on Samsung tab is top notch, and people say writing experience with iPad and apple pen is not up to the mark.
I'm in the same boat, Mini 6 can do anything that iPad mini 7 can do except running Final Cut Pro. The cons are that Mini 6 being 3yo, it will have battery and warranty problems. Paying double for Mini 7 is way too much imo, one could get the new iPad Air around those prices, but if you're planning to use such a portable companion device day in and day out in the next 5 years or so, grabbing the Mini 7 and not worrying about your device getting too old might be worth it. Apple Pencil has a hard tip, so most people find that unnatural. S Pens have softer tips and glide on the screen and it comes in the box. When I used a Tab 7 FE, it was the best part of the experience since that tablet also had a quite big screen, too. Apple Pencil is sold separately with a steep price tag for what it can do. Mind you if you get Mini 6, you'll have to pick up Apple Pencil 2 or old Apple Pencil. Mini 7 is incompatible with those two. You'll have to buy an Apple Pencil USB-C or Apple Pencil Pro with Mini 7, as they both are incompatible with Mini 6.
Hey, nice review, thnx! I'm wanting to go back to Ipad mini, as a device "better and bigger" than just a phone. Now I think: a phone and Ipad mini are everything most everyday users need... I'm gonna try that! :) I have one question: can you confirm whether or not the apple pencil usb-c has hover on the ipad mini 7? Do you think it needs it? Would be great to hear that from you! 👍 Aloha from the Netherlands! ✌️🌻
Great content, as always! I need some advice: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
only worth it for people who own 5th down to mini 4 and for those who need ai iteligence but if they have mini 6 its not worth it because of same screen and 60hz refresh rate
@@ChairmanKimchi Depends on user perspective. I am confused, as I get both. Mini 6 at the half the price of Mini 7; and my use is reading, some net, some media consumption and some note taking. If you have the one, can you give any suggestion / view point regarding this ?
@@radiologistanonymous2353i got my mini 128gb for on sale for $399. Thats only $50-$100 more than the mini 6. Even without the sale, the 8GB alone will significantly improve your usage.

Eh I disagree. It has 8 gb of ram and a chipset that is fresh. Those are huge upgrades.
