I took my wife and daughter to see The Blind Saturday night, it was great and inspirational. My daughter said it was one of the best movies she's ever seen. But, in the coming attractions she said is this a God movie, all attitudinal. I said yes this is a Christian movie. You see, she's bombarded by social media crap, and I'm trying to keep her in the light. Well, she cried. So that works for me as a dad trying to replace negative evil with the power of God Almighty, Jesus Christ being the way... God bless
I also took my 14 year old there for her birthday. She's fighting hard against the world and watching this was so inspirational to her. She has brought it up every day since then!
I watched the movie with my family last Saturday and loved it! My husband who isn't a Christian liked it too. I believe seeds were sown that will help speed his salvation! Thanks to all of you had a part in making the movie.
I went to see The Blind movie yesterday and took my 3 nephews, ages 17,18 and 19. Their eyes never left the screen and I ask God to please plant a seed in each of them. I cried because it was so moving. GOD is so good! Praise HIM!
My husband and I felt led to invite his sister and her husband to watch the movie with us and it was so impactful that it rescued their marriage. We were all in tears! Thank you!
Just saw the movie tonight, so grateful for the Robertsons willingness to be transparent. Our country needs to hear the Gospel and to see how it can change your life. Thank you for being unashamed, I pray that there will be many more believers who are UNASHAMED!
I've seen the movie twice, I took my youngest son (19) and one of his friends the second time and it was very impactful for us all. I'm so very thankful for this family putting together a movie that is worthy of taking our children to. Praise our Lord and Savior and all He is doing, and will continue to do through their faithfulness.
Just rely on the Holy Spirit and your testimony is all you need! When the Holy Spirit lays it on your heart to share, He will give you the words. That way it isn’t in our own human effort! Our obedience is to read the Word of God and to live it. Abide in Christ for apart from Him you can do nothing! You are a willing vessel and that is ALL God wants! The harvest is plenty and the workers are few. Ask God to send out more workers 🙂👍
Just pitch those seeds like the "sower" some took, some sorta did and some, well shake the dust off your sandals... the Robertsons are great examples yet we are told not to compare ourselves...i .e. you be you
I struggled with this too. I started off by telling everyone I saw to have a Blessed Day. Once I got comfortable with that I have started expanding out to talk to others about obedience and God’s love. I will keep growing this because we are all called to lead people to God.
I struggle with it too. I've found making openings works. Anything that allows you to bring up God - someone says 'isn't it a beautiful day outside' say 'yes isn't it amazing what God has done?' Things like that.
The blind is being brought in to our small town in Saskatchewan, Canada. Thank you to the Robertson family. Unashamed encouraged me througout my husbands battle with pancreatic cancer. I am eternally grareful to this family.
THANK YOU ; My wife and I went to the movie theater on 9/30/23 to see THE BLIND, I knew it was going to be good because it was about the ROBERTSON FAMILY. We were so pleased at how well the story was acted out---- it was an outstanding movie. THANK YOU ROBERTSON FAMLY FOR SHARING YOUR LIFE.
I live in California, I am veteran and suffering from PTSD but I was in denial and struggling in life but inspite of my difficulties in life I still value my childrens and my dear wife who is 100% supportive to me. I am blessed listening to you and I wish I will meet you and my family to fellowship with you, I don't why I feel that way, I guess I am just can't believe you've been freed from your bandage but me still struggling even though I am trying my very hard to keep a perfect dad to my children and a husband. I can't say enough, I am just blessed and my hurt started melting listening to you. We will watch your movie on Friday night after my children's school. God bless your channel.
The “secret” is that Phil knows he’s not perfect, and he knows no one can be perfect. It’s us accepting God’s grace.Remember the preacher told Phil most stories are about us going up “the mountain” to find God but in actuality God came down to find us. Reach out in faith with each step and follow the Lord.
Phil’s heart must be so overflown with joy and love as he listens to his two oldest boys decipher the Bible. The two boys his actions hurt the most. And here they all are now. Beautiful.
My parents and I saw it as new born again believers. Your testimony is very moving and I hope this movie gets more exposed to the public. The cast did a great job as well. God bless you and your family! “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” - Titus 2:13
My friends and I just saw it this afternoon. Captivating, encouraging, tears. As a single mother of three for most of their growing-up years I feel for Miss Kay. I don't know if I could do what she was able to do. Thank you all of you Robertsons for making this movie!
We saw The Blind last weekend. It was wonderful. I knew the basic story of the family, but this movie brought it to life. Wow! What a testimony of God’s faithfulness and the transforming power of Jesus.
its an absolute blessing to be able see/hear Phil speak about the gospel and make it simple for anyone to understand. Thank you so much to the Robertson family. I've been a fan since early seasons of duck dynasty.
It definitely was not an action film. But if you think about it from this standpoint that it is a true story then it is exciting. A family teetered on the verge of either making it or disintegrating. @@maryleve4793
My tickets were reserved about a month ago. My husband and I watched it Thursday...I have to say...I grew up like this!! My dad..who was saved ..went home to be with the Lord. I can't begin to tell you what we lived through. I'm in my 70's... and do thankful that Jesus died for my sins ..I am "Unashamed"
It's beautiful too see how humble is Phil, he never makes any of them feel like they need to shy away from telling their truth about the past. Movie was great!
I loved the movie, thank you. It was so real to me. I remembered lying behind my husband for years, praying for Jesus to heal his addictions and help our family. I remember the moment it happened and he confessed his sins. We were married 40 years and I’m a 4 year widow but my husband is with Jesus. For better or worse, Til death do you part. ❤❤
I just seen the movie, I think it was great. haven't been to the theater in over a year. Your movie left me knowing God is real and the Holy Sprit is still with us . Thank you Robertson Family. Its time we all start reading our Bible and start our day with prayer . As Christian we need to surrender all the ungodly things in our lives so God can use testimonies .
Maybe not watching a movie then going to be baptized. I had been praying hard about my youngest. She was 17 and hadn't been baptized but was very "faithful" including loving the Tulsa workshop. Phil was the keynote and on our way home Sunday, I hear from the backseat, "Daddy? I want to be baptized." I couldn't see the road for a few seconds and started looking for water. My wife called my eldest daughter who had keys to the church building and she rounded up family that were waiting for us as we pulled in. I took her confession and then immersed her. My facebook message read simply, "All of my babies are safe." The movie, I'm sure carries as powerful a message as all of the Robertsons' stories do. I'd be surprised if there wasn't a lot of people putting on Christ. Thank you @Phil Robertson for living the message of Salvation and raising boys that live and share the Gospel too.
This is my second comment but I want you to know that I felt equal to the batism scene was the scene where Phil told his buddies that the old Phil was dead. It gave me shivers. I loved a man who was so like the old Phil. I would have literally given anything to hear him say those words and mean them. I prayed for alot of years, gave him a ultimatum, he disappeared off the earth, never saw him again, our son will soon be 18, and has no memory of him. That scene was so powerful. I want Phil to know that every woman thats ever been through this, felt those words.
You may never know what happened but it could be your husband will find the Lord before the end of his life even if you never know it. I pray that happens, so maybe you will see him and rejoice in heaven.
I watched the movie today with my husband! We loved it! I cried liked 3 or 4 times because I could really resonate with some of it in my own life. The difference was that I became a Christian at 7 years old, then as a teenager I started going down a really bad road that led into my marriage. I fought the devil on and off from like age 18 into my 40’s. I was a prodigal (daughter) so to speak. But thank you Jesus for His redeeming love and forgiveness, and also my husband’s. I’m very blessed to have a good Christian husband! I really love the Robertson family and everything y’all do and have done for people like me! God bless you all and this podcast! Thank you! ❤
The movie was very disappointing. I prefer to hear phil talk about his life. The movie was very tame compared to the way you would hear the robertson family talk about phil before he got saved.
Wow is all i can say about the movie!!! Well done !!! Nothing but respect for Phil and Mrs. Kaye for being vulnerable and putting their story out there.
Me and my Husband went to see the movie and it didn't disappoint. It was done very well. Very moving and inspirational. Thank you for sharing your life story with us. God bless you all .
Probably the best "low budget" movie I've ever seen. I feel like the acting was spot on and the Cinematography was extremely impressive but most importantly I feel like it felt honest and you could feel the passion and heart that went into making it and the message of hope definitely comes through.
I was blown away after watching it tonight! Something about watching redemption will always be motivational and inspiring. You never know if your story will inspire change in someone else.
My husband, daughter, and I saw The Blind on Saturday 9/30 at Cinemark in Fort Worth Texas at the 8:45 pm showing. Phil, Kay, Al, Will, and several other family members were there for a meet and greet. I was so surprised to see them there out of all of the theaters they could have been at. We tried to get in line, and were told it was for only the 6 pm and 6:15 pm showings. No biggie. We understand. They can't be there all night long. We hope the movie does amazing. Much love to the Robertson's. They are wonderful God fearing people. This is a great podcast.
I was saved 30 years ago when I was a young teenager. It was the happiest 2 years of my life until I strayed away from Jesus and gave into the world around me. I've been in the darkest of dark places for years now to the point that my only shame was that I didn't have enough courage to end my own life. The Holy Spirit has been there the whole time I now know and I came across the movie trailer and then yalls podcast a few weeks ago and I'm praying and reading the Bible again. Thank you
Just saw it for our 34th anniversary!! I cried it just touches my heart and we love the Robertson family even more. Everyone should see this movie. God Bless you all.
I have been Unashamed since episode 48 thank you guys for all that you have brought us from Duck Dynasty to now the Robertson Family is down to earth people. Love the podcast Duck Call room is awesome to.
I think it’s awesome that after you where baptized the preacher studied with you my whole life the church, churches I know you get baptized and no one helps you, teaches you. I sure wish I was a part of your amazing family
I’ve got my tickets for this Thursday. I can’t wait to see it. I’ve always loved the duck dynasty series for what they stand for and lines they won’t cross for fortune or fame!
Gotta brag about my kid-she and her friends lost only 10 matches total from 3rd grade to senior year, all 6 starters, including my daughter, all are now playing in college.
It was wonderful!! ❤ Thank you, Jesus! It was very real for me and triggering because of my history as a kid in a dysfunctional family. Brought of alot of memories. I can relate so well to so much of it. Especially, the part when he says "it's in her blood then ask if he has it in his blood too" That was powerful. Thank you for living for the Lord. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
Mr. Robertson, I related to this movie from my childhood and in some ways lived this same kind of life as an adult. Thank you and your family for opening yourselves up. You are appreciated.
We enjoyed the movie . We also enjoyed Duck Dynasty and the life lessons we got from it. Thanks for being a light all these years in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A friend from York PA
I am second is what brought me to the podcast a couple years ago and I have been sending it to so many people since then! Thank you all for staying Unashamed
Phil I hope and pray you never again feel embarrassed about your past. Each of us has a past we would like to do differently. Your past, your life up to now is what God had planned for you. You have MORE than enough made up for the time you were not yourself. You are loved by us here in the middle of NEBRASKA!!!!!!!
Phil, I love and appreciate you. The Gospel must be preached to the whole world as a witness. The whole world. The United States, the country that I was born in and love, has rejected not only Jesus Christ, but our Father as well. He’s doing a Work. He will finish what He started.
We watched the movie and there were two showings in the early afternoon just about 15 minutes apart. Early movie sold out and second showing was about half full. There were so many special scenes in the story, but one that was a little unexpected was how loved Uncle Si was by his nephews and what a great person he was to them. I loved the part when he took the boys to the woods to see Phil. He couldn't believe his own eyes when he saw his brother and the boys who had yearned to see their Dad were frightened by his lifestyle and didn't want to get close, they wanted to leave. I'm sure it was traumatizing, but what a great story to show the vulnerability of children . I loved the movie. Thank you Robertsons and family !
Im 40 have wife 3 kids and a grandson i was an addict till 38 then turned to alcohol. I just play Jeps story in my head his family put on house arrest and took him away from temptation. Ive read all your books seen all aspects of shows herd all 3 podcast from number 1. Thank you for your leadership
Jase, I took the title to have 2 meanings. The Blind, like the duck blind obviously. But The Blind as to how Phil was to the Gospel of Jesus. He was blind to his sin, blind to what he was doing to his family and his own life. I love the title!
I really would like to hear more from Phil - he’s pretty quiet - and he is fantastic in delivering God’s word. Saw the movie tonight and it was very good. I also felt that the “Jesus Revolution” movie was awesome too.
I went to see the movie last weekend. I knew it could be a little tough as my dad was like Phil but worse. I was so touched by this redemption story but was so burdened because I’m not sure that my dad ever had that chance. He took his own life when his health deteriorated due to his years of alcohol abuse and smoking became too much for him to handle. I have always prayed that he did have that moment before he died. Thank you so much for being vulnerable enough to share your story. I know so many lives will be changed because of the movie, the podcasts and your honest sharing of the gospel. ❤
What a wonderful movie, we saw it yesterday. You are such a humble man to be able to show your life to the world like that, for the sake of the gospel. If I don't meet you first, I'll see you up there at home.
Hey guys truly love and appreciate everyone of you guys my son loves your show has rewatched it 20 times would love for him to meet you guys in person if you're ever in AR and talk Jesus much love from your brother in Christ ❤️
I anticipated this movie from the time I heard it would be released. It was very honest, uplifting, an inspirational all wrapped up in a single movie. In being totally honest, I shed a few tears. I love the movie and it made me so proud of you guys. I will watch it many more times and will encourage others to see it as well. Praise Jesus!!!!!
I used to watch some Duck Dynasty, so when I heard about the movie I thought I would like to see it. I wasn't sure if I could handle some of the subject matter. So then I found the Unashamed podcast & started listening and was so blessed by it! I ended up gathering a couple women from church and we saw it yesterday. What an impactful movie! God bless you all for sharing your lives and your witness to the nations!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. This is going to change so many lives, and i appreciat it so much. Thank you so much. Iknow it must have been so hard. But yall are really fisherman of men ❤ Thank you all God bless you all
Wow !God is so good! The Robertson family is definitely of God! The entire family! God wants to be in our lives , we just have to let him, HE LOVES US ALL SO VERY MUCH ! A PERFECT PEACE 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
I saw the movie two weeks ago with my husband. I had wanted to take two of my sons but wasn’t able to get them there. The next week I had a feeling to try again to take one of my sons. He finally agreed and I was just happy he was willing to spend time with me. Mins after the movie, back in the car my son opened up to me about an issue he’s had in his life for a long time. I was completely shocked and just listened and prayed to respond to him in the right way that he needed. I felt that seeing the movie put him in a more humble and vulnerable place. I was so grateful to not only have that experience with him but I know that seeing the movie has at least opened him up to charge in his life and knowing that God knows and loves him❤️. Thank you:)
Saw the film with my wife Sunday night. What an outstanding piece of filmmaking, and a beautiful testimony of the great things Christ can bring about. God bless yall. Enjoy the podcast, too!
My husband and I went to go watch it on Saturday. Planning on going to watch the movie again with our kids. Love the movie. Beautifully put together to tell Phil and Ms Kay's story. Had me in tears. I've been watching Duck Dynasty for years. My husband got me hooked on it. Now I see you all like family. Love you guys! God bless you! Phil, love your testimony! What a powerful story you and Ms. Kay have. Ms Kay I can relate to some of the things u went through. Ur such an amazing and strong woman. I admire u so much! U can see God's plan in your lives coming together as the movie played along. Thank God u had ur grandma to give u such wonderful words of wisdom. Ur such an amazing woman because of her, no doubt. ❤ 🙏
Saw The Blind yesterday in Western Hills (Cincinnati) OH. I live in IN but on the OH boarder. I can’t say enough about the movie. It’s an incredible, moving, redemptive story. I cried many times but the most moving was the baptism scene. I cry in hope of the ones God has put on my heart to turn to Him♥️
Went and seen it Saturday night with a couple of friends. Best movie we have ever seen! Such a beautiful message of the power of God and what he can and will do if you let him.
The Blind needed to be another hour longer. Lots of time was spent showing the decline and I would have liked to have seen Phil reaching 1000's and 1000's.
Thank you so much for the movie! God bless y’all! It was so good! Our theater in our small town was packed! We’ve been duck dynasty fans for years and it was good to see beginnings and the goodness of God was all over that movie! So important to get the gospel message out! Thanks again🙂
I was Baptized today at age 54, after seeing the movie The Blind. Thank you Robertson Family!❤❤❤
Welcome to the family of God. It’s the most important decision that you will ever make. Amen!
I took my wife and daughter to see The Blind Saturday night, it was great and inspirational. My daughter said it was one of the best movies she's ever seen. I still say that the terminology for Happy Happy Happy came from Phil seeing his 3 boys so happy that he was baptized.

The impressive thing is The Blind was shown in less theaters than all the others, and still out sold all but 3 other movies.
My wife and I saw it Sunday. There was a good group there for a Sunday

Just got back from watching... it was wonderful!!! I cried like a baby!!! Will buy this when it comes out on dvd!
Thank you Robertson family for taking the time out of your day to teach us the good news in computer land and The Blind was awesome.
I loved the movie very heartfelt, touching moving... From Gilmer, Tx
I loved the movie. I saw ppl sharing Jesus in the lobby of the theater after it was over. Thanks Robertson family.
My wife and I went to see the movie on 9/29. What an amazing story of redemption. I have been waiting for years to see this movie come out together
My wife and I went the other day. It was very spiritual impactful. God bless ya and thank you from Alabama.
praying for you Phil...and your family
Probably the best "low budget" movie I've ever seen. I feel like the acting was spot on and the Cinematography was extremely impressive but most importantly I feel like it felt honest and you could feel the passion and heart that went into making it and the message of hope definitely comes through.
I can't even watch the trailer without bawling. I don't think that I can see this in the theaters.
It's very good.. Telling a redemption AND love story combined.
It's so good. Take tissues and a bag to put them in.🧡
Take a box of tissues and go see it
@@kathymills795Aww thank you for the heads up bc I’m going this Sunday and can’t wait to see it!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I understand… but you still need to see it!
I mentioned the same in the comments during the online church service once.
I was told, there's good churches everywhere. There's not.
Thank you Phil for choosing LIFE !!!
❤❤❤
I’ve got my tickets for this Thursday. I can’t wait to see it. I’ve always loved the duck dynasty series for what they stand for and lines they won’t cross for fortune or fame!
When Phil came up out if that water a new man in Christ .....my experience was the whole theater was crying and shouting praise ❤
Gotta brag about my kid-she and her friends lost only 10 matches total from 3rd grade to senior year, all 6 starters, including my daughter, all are now playing in college.
Alan, thank you for explaining what "i am second is"!
Heard about baptisms and deliverance after Come Out In Jesus’ Name. So grateful for all of these responses this year. 🎉🎉🎉
The Blind was such a great beautiful story. Went last Friday and had a good time.
We enjoyed the movie . We also enjoyed Duck Dynasty and the life lessons we got from it. Thanks for being a light all these years in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A friend from York PA
I’m going to see The Blind this Sunday and I can’t wait!!!!
Went to the theater today with 3 friends, we were very impressed with the presentation from beginning to the end.
Absolutely fabulous movie guys. Thank you for being transparent Phil. To God be the glory.
What God can do through a man that finds humility Thankyou, gentleman and Miss Kay..
He gives grace to the humble, but resists the proud
I really would like to hear more from Phil - he’s pretty quiet - and he is fantastic in delivering God’s word. Saw the movie tonight and it was very good. I also felt that the “Jesus Revolution” movie was awesome too.
Beautifully told and presented...I am stirred to be unashamed! Thank you Robertson family for giving God the glory❤
Saw the movie with my husband and daughter. We loved it!!! Very emotional. Thanks to the family for sharing their story.
Thank You Phil and Family for the Movie,
obedience to Sharing the Word and spreading the Message of HIS Love
What a wonderful movie, we saw it yesterday. You are such a humble man to be able to show your life to the world like that, for the sake of the gospel. If I don't meet you first, I'll see you up there at home.
I've been bingeing often. Found it this summer and been listening to old ones as well as recent ones.
Hey guys truly love and appreciate everyone of you guys my son loves your show has rewatched it 20 times would love for him to meet you guys in person if you're ever in AR and talk Jesus much love from your brother in Christ ❤️
Best movie I’ve seen in decades. Thank you for your witness. Very powerful story!
My husband and I went to see The Blind and enjoyed it so much that we took our teen daughters to see it again a couple days later.
I took my family to see Blind!! Thank you for honest wholesome entertainment!! God bless you all!!
Thank you:)
We went last night. So good. God Bless you all.
I have not been to the theater since Smokey and the bandit came out in the 70s but I am going to go and see the blind
That was a great movie too. It was the 1st movie I saw in the theater- age 6.
Saw the film with my wife Sunday night. What an outstanding piece of filmmaking, and a beautiful testimony of the great things Christ can bring about. God bless yall. Enjoy the podcast, too!
We saw it in Fallston, MD with a full theater on Friday evening. Excellent movie. Waiting for part II. Thank you Phil for sharing your personal life.
I knew just a little of the Robertsons.
The movie was excellent.
The last bit with Phil was EVERYTHING!
I’m a huge fan, now!
The scene of Phil alone, facing his demons, and what he told Miss Kay about the experience was so powerful. What a realization.
The Blind is a good movie. Thank you for sharing your story with the world.
I've been watch'n these guys since they were on VHS. I feel like the "then what happens?" (the sequel) has been out there for yrs for all to see.✌️😊
Thank you so much for the movie! God bless y’all! It was so good! Our theater in our small town was packed! We’ve been duck dynasty fans for years and it was good to see beginnings and the goodness of God was all over that movie! So important to get the gospel message out! Thanks again🙂
This is the beginning of a revival!! Amazing!! God bless you for sharing the wonderful words of Jesus! 🥰
What a powerful message! We loved the movie.
