Alisha... The point of a Dog fight (Notice how i said Dog FIGHT) is to pop you're opponents balloons, while trying to avoid being Hit yourself.
It's more fun doing that, than boringly flying around the island :p

For Wii sports resort, if you twist the wiimote hard to one side, your plane will move to the side while doing crazy spins. It's great to avoid bullets, and if you can do this while turning, old Daz here will have a harder time shooting you. That would be something like a Barrel Roll.
Those coaster circles you did at the end were pretty sweet, you dodged some of his shots. haha.
