One thing about the guy, which is evidenced here in this song, is that he has an almost supernatural ability to gauge what the people need to hear at the time they need to hear it. I thought this song was not only incredibly written but virtually every other musician who makes similar music would have and if Tom macdonald himself wasn't so tapped in to his audience, one would expect this tune to be dunking on Biden and employing somewhat of an irreverent tone. But I think he once again struck a chord with so many Americans who don't really feel like voice is being heard and if it is, our leadership is treating them with open contempt and dehumanization the levels of which we have never seen anything even remotely similar. So I thought the spirit of the song was genius...a sad state of affairs and honest assessment of what the recent past has looked like. But they wrapped that darker message in a more sonically uplifting tone. So I’m watching RUclips on the T.V and my doorbell rings I go get the door, and I forgot to mute it - I don’t listen to commercials. As I’m taking a delivery I hear the beginning of the song. I finish at the door and I moved back to the living room pretty quickly. I see this guy - tatted-up like the side of an abandoned building - and the words coming out of him….I was looking at him and I’m not seeing the tattoos really. I’m seeing him for the first time (ever actually) but I’m thinking , how is this even on the T.V? This is catchy but it’s gravitas at the same time. Then just like that it’s over. The show I was watching comes back on and I’M dumbfounded. Who was that? Was that a paid Republican commercial? I stayed on the same channel for the better part of a week, thinking it would come back on. It did not. I thought he was a country singer. Did the expected internet searches. Nada. Tried a lyrics search. Nope. Then I started to get creative with my searching, and stumbled on a compilation of musicians that had endorsed President Trump. They show the rally where Trump is talking about a song climbing “all the charts to number one” and the President calls out “Where’s Tom?” Then they show him between the stands shouting out to Trump. Bingo. Yahtzee! I research and find he was originally Canadian. I’m Canadian. He came from B.C (okay, now I get the tattoos), and he’s known as a rapper. Rapper?! What? That song sounded country. Anyways, got the video. Loved it. Down loaded the song. Listened to five others of his. Downloaded them. I’ve never done that in one sitting for anyone, and I have over 2000 songs.I then watched about ten reaction videos to that song, then yours made eleven. Next thing I know , I see that you’re wrapping up and I realize I was listing to you seven times longer than the song. You have many of the same insights as I, even your outlook of things in general, let alone the direct ones. I liked your review of the song, but more importantly the meaning of the song as how it relates to the situation at hand. Yes he won, and sooo many people said they knew he would 🙄 but c’mon everyone’s heart was in their mouths. So I thought the spirit of the song was genius...a sad state of affairs and honest assessment of what the recent past has looked like. But they wrapped that darker message in a more sonically uplifting tone. And he also spoke to so many who were invigorating by the lyrics as well as the notion that their feelings are validated and they are not alone

I'm 68 years old and never cared for rap music. He has done many songs that I like. Race Wars and The Machine are two of them. He has also done a song with John Rich which I love.
check out American flags, and the iconic You Missed. He's normally a rapper but this one and Freedom is not free is not rap. I usually don't like rap but this guy I'm a fan of. He's got my patriotic ear big time.

Tom Blends genres, he was definitely highly influenced by rap and rock. He does have some songs that are like straight rap hip hop but he also has ones that I would have a harder time categorizing Maybe punk pop, some punk, like alt Rock country type sound. I mean he's generally rap but definitely can't throw him just strictly in that category. I definitely hope you check out more if you don't want to do like political just ask and we will be more than happy to give you song titles, he's just known for the political songs but he definitely has a huge catalog that includes much much more.
HOG stands for hangover gang this is Tom's fan base / family, he does have a very loyal supporting, because he is independent he has no one except himself and us to push out his music and we do. There's a lot of people who don't the time just based off of the way he looks which you know we get it, but that's also why we're here to kind of some backstory answer questions. We appreciate anyone with an open mind to take a listen, and we definitely love his message of unity and freedom of speech. We love and value Tom's heart that's why we support him so much. Nova Rockefeller that's your stage name that's Tom's girlfriend, she's also an artist, she actually is the one who shoots most of his music videos and edits them. Tom produces all of his own beats as well as write his own music. And he does play a lot of the guitar in the background of the songs I know he plays piano too.
Tom is actually more of a Centrist, he doesn't support either party, he supports Trump. He thinks the government divides us and he's very vocal about that in a lot of the music. But he also does music about Mental Health, addiction, along with I would say political social commentary tracks.

So I’m watching RUclips on the T.V and my doorbell rings I go get the door, and I forgot to mute it - I don’t listen to commercials. As I’m taking a delivery I hear the beginning of the song. I finish at the door and I moved back to the living room pretty quickly. I see this guy - tatted-up like the side of an abandoned building - and the words coming out of him….I was looking at him and I’m not seeing the tattoos really. I’m seeing him for the first time (ever actually) but I’m thinking , how is this even on the T.V? This is catchy but it’s gravitas at the same time. Then just like that it’s over. The show I was watching comes back on and I’M dumbfounded. Who was that? Was that a paid Republican commercial? I stayed on the same channel for the better part of a week, thinking it would come back on. It did not. I thought he was a country singer. Did the expected internet searches. Nada. Tried a lyrics search. Nope. Then I started to get creative with my searching, and stumbled on a compilation of musicians that had endorsed President Trump. They show the rally where Trump is talking about a song climbing “all the charts to number one” and the President calls out “Where’s Tom?”
Then they show him between the stands shouting out to Trump. Bingo. Yahtzee!
I research and find he was originally Canadian. I’m Canadian. He came from B.C (okay, now I get the tattoos), and he’s known as a rapper. Rapper?! What? That song sounded country. Anyways, got the video. Loved it. Down loaded the song. Listened to five others of his. Downloaded them. I’ve never done that in one sitting for anyone, and I have over 2000 songs.I then watched about ten reaction videos to that song, then yours made eleven. Next thing I know , I see that you’re wrapping up and I realize I was listing to you seven times longer than the song. You have many of the same insights as I, even your outlook of things in general, let alone the direct ones. I liked your review of the song, but more importantly the meaning of the song as how it relates to the situation at hand. Yes he won, and sooo many people said they knew he would 🙄 but c’mon everyone’s heart was in their mouths.

He was in the middle until ‘the attempt’. That pushed him to a great extent. He’s done shorts along the way explaining why he’s stepping firmly where he is. Not political; but a Trump supporter.

Tom’s genre is “Tom MacDonald”. He is a rapper but, he changes lanes at will. He has Billboard #1s in each of their tracked genres, including Pop, Rock and Alternative in addition to Rap and Hip Hop.
He grew up listening to Zeppelin and other rock from the 70’s and 80’s. He travelled with his dad, chasing jobs, and grew to love what his dad listened to. He discovered rap when he bought a 2-PAC double album CD. He also loved grunge and will blend rap and rock into many of his songs. You never know what you are going to get from Tom.
