I have that same Monti and interestingly when I made the switch from natural LFS sea water to pre mixed it started to have new growth. I also notice coralline algae growth on glass as well that I didn't have.🤔 This video is very informative! Thankyou.

Thanks for sharing! What happens Virginia is when natural sea water is collected it tends to loose some of its elements upon storage, but when you use synthetic salts all of the trace elements are present and are also injected with other elements. Eddie

Eddie, what essential elements you use?
I have using Kent marine essential elements and Kent marine coral Vite , i had a 29 gallon tank now I upgraded to 90 gallon with 30 gallon sump and curve-5 skimmer, I notice that the skimmer pick up the Kent marine because the skimmate is blue, I asúmame that I will have to turn off the skimmer while adding the elects but it will pick them up again, any suggestions?

Hi Eddie, my tank water was the same but once the trace elements were sorted out with a ICP test I’ve never looked back, all my corals have come along leaps and bounds so I plan to do a ICP test about every 3 months , I’ve started dosing RedSea ABCD trace elements which I used after the ICP test to bring the levels up, I will let you know Eddie how I get on after my next ICP test, thanks for the video Eddie 👍🏻
