Agree 100%! I never even tried Cha-ching - it looked so boring to me. My local has removed many of my favorite slots and replaced with the huge cabinet/lightning-link/bag games clones. They're ruining what used to be a very fun experience - a few hours of fun and potential to win at my local. Now, it's different. Not good.
In my experience, both Huff and Puff games are absolutely horrible. The bonus is seemingly impossible to get and the line hits are horrible. Especially on huff and more puff. All the Money Link games are terrible too. The line hits are terrible on that one and the bonus is usually awful. Even the hold and spin will generally give you small numbers. Good fortune will almost always give you free games and they pay very poorly.
I got the bonus 5 spins on Shamrock Fortunes betting .88 a spin, won 5 cents, it triggered another 5 spins and I won a whopping 20 cents. Never again will I play it.
Played all of these, but I can't believe you left off Buffalo Ascension. I've hit several bonuses that have won $0-10 and it doesn't matter the bet. It's a brutal game.

Played Coin Trio in Reno two weeks ago at $1.76. Three different machines... two at Harvey's (a >$700 major each) and one at Bally's where I won $1800 on $1.76. Put less than $50 in each machine before they hit. Yes buying a bonus is incredibly risky. But I'm a huge Coin Trio fan.

Pretty clever and deceptive at keeping people playing. I'd love to know how the metrics on that game compare to others in regards to average amount spent.
that is called perceived persistence. it has nothing to do with how close you are with winning the bonus. i believe the only thing it may tell you is how long it's been since that bonus has been hit, but does not guarantee any bonus to hit soon. someone can chime in to correct me if i'm wrong on the second part as that is just my speculation
Any time i did get a bonus it paid crap, even with a screen full of wilds. I got double hit bonus 20 free games with only face symbols, amazing how many dead spins you can still get. It is a scam machine.

I think Coin Trio is actually a good play at the mid to lower wagers. It seems to hit some decent bonuses there while maintaining the bankroll awhile. Most of the criticism is with the Buy a Bonus feature. I try to share with anyone that it's a true sucker's bet that preys on my tilt.

I agree with all of the games except regal riches. I have won hundreds of dollars so many times on that game with free games on low bets. The first time I played I won $900 on around a $3 bet. I can usually play for a while on lower bets. I do agree that the line hits aren't great unless you are in the free game bonus. One time I accidentally played on 5 cent denom and won a lot. I couldn't believe it. Then my husband told me I was on 5 cent denom. Haha I think I was playing around $7 bets without realizing it.

The game LOOKS like it can be so fun, the idea of the bonus is so tempting...but the few times I've played the game, it just ended up sucking up all of my money. I thought maybe it was just particularly volatile, but I haven't played the game since. It's just not worth it to me when there are so many other better games out there.
Basically if a game is big and pretty, it will be volatile. Especially if it's a licensed game from a show or movie. Triple coin treasures is among the most volatile non licensed slot machine games.
Coin Trio is horrendous. I bought the $50 bonus on 1c and it gave me $19.47. Regal riches is also terrible. Nothing to do with this video, but I finally found a Pinball I could afford. It was “Double Gold Pinball” at Tamarack casino in south Reno. You say it’s your favorite, so I tried it. This one you need 3 Pinball symbols across. I played 0.25 cents times 9 lines. Hit the bonus 3 times in 10 minutes. I did your method of using a cash out stopping point. Put in $50 into the machine, cashed out $160. Adjusted the cash out up a bit after each win, from $60 to $125 to $160. Fun game, especially this version with all the shiny flashy symbols in it !
I was with you until #1. I actually won the Grand at Choctaw on Triple Coin Treasures (Shamrock version) and now it's my fav. Cant wait for the new version shown at G2E. However, after visiting a few casinos across the country, I have observed that these machines seem to have abysmal bonuses when they are not multi denoms. I don't like any of the Asian theme games. I just think the graphics are too busy and it's hard to tell the difference in some of them. Plus, I don't think the payouts are good. Same with a really popular one, Top Dollar. Terrible payouts.
Regal Riches is a great game to accomplish certain things for the smaller bettor who looks for hot. You need three things 1. Three to five bonus to every fifty rolls and stop play 2. Have a reasonable "target" or don't play 3. Bet 1.50 to 3.00 It is a great game to follow behind the pie-eyed iniebriated who leave blues hanging. Play until you build a blue bonus and profit off of another's mistake. If you are looking for points and want to play awhile it serves a good purpose.
Regal Riches was briefly one of my favorite games at higher denom, especially if the Wilds were already built up. Lower denom though even the bonus games are a complete waste of time- tons of noise and effects and you win $8.
On game king I play Jack's or better...for several years. When I increase my bets 3, 4 or max, I get less winning hand than when I go back to 1 bet, I will get more winning hands, and less payout of course. Are these machines fixed for that to happen?😮
I saw on a cruise play triple coins treasure is the most payout machine, which is easy to expect the outcome. The trick is you need to start with full coins in the three bowls, then soon you may get the free spins from 5 to 15.
That Shamrock Fortunes is love/hate for me. One day triggered all three pots on the 10¢ $8 bet level for a hand pay, then again two spins later for another. But there are times when I trigger a bonus and only get 50¢ back.

Maybe you highlighting Shamrock Fortunes as the worst of 2023 caused it to turn around for this year. I've had very good luck on these machines, winning a $1,200 major @ $1.60 spin within about $70. I also proceeded to win several larger bonuses thoughout that same day on multiple machines of this game in multiple casinos.
Regal Riches is also a guarantee pay out machine. Each color of wilds will automatically hit when there max is meet. I check this game all the time to see if it's about to payout.
I love Regal Riches. . . The first time I played it, I got a jackpot. I was on a cruise and saw that one of the wilds had a “must hit back number” that needed only 7 wilds more!. I put in $300 and got another jackpot. I loved the wilds factor. Had a good time and came ahead.

Shamrock fortunes first time playing in Vegas won $400 with feature after feature. Played it two times since then and it was terrible. I agree and will not play again.
I will agree with the Leprechaun game. It takes a long time to get the bonus, and the payouts are underwhelming. I did win a couple times on it, but they were flukes. As for Coin Trio, I don't agree. I have had a lot of luck with them. They generally hit when the pig is tall on the platform and wearing his hat. However, when you get all 3 to hit, it is many times a disappointment, because at the beginning, it randomly fills the board with 5 coins, and leaves the 3 original colored coins, which means you only have 7 spaces to fill during the bonus, and most likely you will not get the entire board and get the GRAND jackpot, so you really have only about 6 spaces to fill, and it doesn't retrigger the colored coins often. I find when you get only 2 pigs, the payouts are better.

They installed a bank of Cha-Ching machines at my local casino about a month ago. When they were new they were very popular. Just a few weeks later it's like they may as well not even be on the floor because they are always empty. It's been my experience that they usually give an opportunity to leave with a small win and it's best to take it. They are dreadful over an extended play. Spot on about Regal Riches. My last time out I played it and finally hit the free games on it. It wasn't good at all. Like you said it acts like it is doing a lot but simply doesn't when you do the math. As far as the leprechaun game it very well may be the absolute worst game ever made. I stay away from leprechauns and dragons.
Cha Ching is my absolute all over new favorite game actually had a little bit of learning curve so I can understand some peoples hesitation but after I learn how to use it, I average $500 a bonus and get them quite frequently while playing the key, however, is to play only with the orange packages which are about I believe seven $7.50-$10 a pop but you get quite a few coins and it goes off quickly at the lower package level the purple and the green. It’s kind of hard to get anywhere. They don’t have it at my Local, but I’ve played it at the lodge in Blackhawk Colorado and Hollywood casino in Pennsylvania. Both times I brought home jackpot amounts but didn’t have to pay taxes because it does it $500-$700 per bonus at a time. But as I said, you have to do the packages or bust!

So I never like the newer games - I usually feel like they don't pay (unless you play them as soon as they're activated*) But I will say the leprechaun game has given some pretty excellent results but I've also seen it be a total let-down. I personally don't like the "3 pots" bonuses where each pot is a different feature and you don't really win unless you pop all 3. Those games would be my worst pick 👌

I saw the Regal Riches which looked good on some vids but I did notice that it has a tremendous amount of bad/useless spins, does not have (or very rarely) wilds on the screen and for you to get the bonus feature takes forever. @sweetkandee1582 Its Lightning Link High Stakes; and I do the 10 cent denomination and do .50 per line and it's 50 lines so it's just $5.00 per bet. Sometimes if I'm playing with a larger amount I will do $1.00 to $1.50 per line. When the bonus rounds hit & the amounts you can win are bigger - wow!! 😀

I agree 100% with this list. On my last Vegas trip, I triggered bonuses on the Shamrock machine. The payouts were $6-10 total! Absolutely horrible

I don't like any of the Asian theme games. I just think the graphics are too busy and it's hard to tell the difference in some of them. Plus, I don't think the payouts are good. Same with a really popular one, Top Dollar. Terrible payouts.
Regal Riches is a great game to accomplish certain things for the smaller bettor who looks for hot. You need three things 1. Three to five bonus to every fifty rolls and stop play 2. Have a reasonable "target" or don't play 3. Bet 1.50 to 3.00
It is a great game to follow behind the pie-eyed iniebriated who leave blues hanging. Play until you build a blue bonus and profit off of another's mistake. If you are looking for points and want to play awhile it serves a good purpose.

Regal Riches was briefly one of my favorite games at higher denom, especially if the Wilds were already built up. Lower denom though even the bonus games are a complete waste of time- tons of noise and effects and you win $8.
On game king I play Jack's or better...for several years. When I increase my bets 3, 4 or max, I get less winning hand than when I go back to 1 bet, I will get more winning hands, and less payout of course. Are these machines fixed for that to happen?😮

I saw on a cruise play triple coins treasure is the most payout machine, which is easy to expect the outcome. The trick is you need to start with full coins in the three bowls, then soon you may get the free spins from 5 to 15.
That Shamrock Fortunes is love/hate for me. One day triggered all three pots on the 10¢ $8 bet level for a hand pay, then again two spins later for another. But there are times when I trigger a bonus and only get 50¢ back.

Maybe you highlighting Shamrock Fortunes as the worst of 2023 caused it to turn around for this year. I've had very good luck on these machines, winning a $1,200 major @ $1.60 spin within about $70. I also proceeded to win several larger bonuses thoughout that same day on multiple machines of this game in multiple casinos.

Regal Riches is also a guarantee pay out machine. Each color of wilds will automatically hit when there max is meet. I check this game all the time to see if it's about to payout.
I love Regal Riches. . . The first time I played it, I got a jackpot. I was on a cruise and saw that one of the wilds had a “must hit back number” that needed only 7 wilds more!. I put in $300 and got another jackpot. I loved the wilds factor. Had a good time and came ahead.

Shamrock fortunes first time playing in Vegas won $400 with feature after feature. Played it two times since then and it was terrible. I agree and will not play again.

I will agree with the Leprechaun game. It takes a long time to get the bonus, and the payouts are underwhelming. I did win a couple times on it, but they were flukes. As for Coin Trio, I don't agree. I have had a lot of luck with them. They generally hit when the pig is tall on the platform and wearing his hat. However, when you get all 3 to hit, it is many times a disappointment, because at the beginning, it randomly fills the board with 5 coins, and leaves the 3 original colored coins, which means you only have 7 spaces to fill during the bonus, and most likely you will not get the entire board and get the GRAND jackpot, so you really have only about 6 spaces to fill, and it doesn't retrigger the colored coins often. I find when you get only 2 pigs, the payouts are better.
I agree with most of these games. Haven’t tried Cha Ching…but Coin Trio is a money sucker, and the same for Shamrock….I don’t touch those now…what do you think about Devil’s Lock?

I agree with you, the shamrock ☘️ riches did not give me baloney in the free bonus games and siphoned money. After 100 dollars in the machine and 3 dead spins on all bonus games, I ran away as fast as I possibly could. Another casino player even told me to take my money and find something else to play. Should have listened.

They installed a bank of Cha-Ching machines at my local casino about a month ago. When they were new they were very popular. Just a few weeks later it's like they may as well not even be on the floor because they are always empty. It's been my experience that they usually give an opportunity to leave with a small win and it's best to take it. They are dreadful over an extended play.
Spot on about Regal Riches. My last time out I played it and finally hit the free games on it. It wasn't good at all. Like you said it acts like it is doing a lot but simply doesn't when you do the math.
As far as the leprechaun game it very well may be the absolute worst game ever made. I stay away from leprechauns and dragons.
Cha Ching is my absolute all over new favorite game actually had a little bit of learning curve so I can understand some peoples hesitation but after I learn how to use it, I average $500 a bonus and get them quite frequently while playing the key, however, is to play only with the orange packages which are about I believe seven $7.50-$10 a pop but you get quite a few coins and it goes off quickly at the lower package level the purple and the green. It’s kind of hard to get anywhere. They don’t have it at my Local, but I’ve played it at the lodge in Blackhawk Colorado and Hollywood casino in Pennsylvania. Both times I brought home jackpot amounts but didn’t have to pay taxes because it does it $500-$700 per bonus at a time. But as I said, you have to do the packages or bust!
Chi Ching is pretty fun but I did hit the wrong button and hit a jackpot in high limit so I have limited play on it lol

So I never like the newer games - I usually feel like they don't pay (unless you play them as soon as they're activated*)
But I will say the leprechaun game has given some pretty excellent results but I've also seen it be a total let-down.
I personally don't like the "3 pots" bonuses where each pot is a different feature and you don't really win unless you pop all 3. Those games would be my worst pick 👌

That first game you mentioned I saw new at our local casino a couple months ago. Tried it for a bit on a low bet and was getting absolutely slaughtered. Someone sat next to me and did a higher bet, and everything he hit was paying out hundreds in return. So I tried to copy him and lost so bad. 😂😂😂 Hate that game. The local tribal casino doesn't carry these, but they do have a game similar to Cha-Ching. Or it might be the same. It's been a while! I played it once for a small amount and decided right away: NOPE.
Regal Riches is almost impossible to get the free spin bonus, but if you see the Gold, Green, Purple numbers high then there is a chance of winning decent money. However, like free spins the line doesn't pay nothing spin after spin.
