All I ever wanted to be was a Wife and a Mother. I love being a helper, and my middle name is Eve. You made it clear to me, that this was and always has been why I am who I am, and have always loved every moment. Almighty God fulfilled in me, my purpose. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
So did I, with all my heart. But now I’m high-40s, still single my whole life, and just been told I’ve started menopause - and yet I haven’t started “life” yet. I feel so broken and hurt and lost. My whole meaning of being a woman, wanting to give love and be loved and create a new generation has all be denied … I don’t know how to see my worth anymore.
Krystal, have you read Isaiah 54, and also some single missionaries stories. We don't need to be married, nor bear children to fulfil God's purpose for us...Is 54 reminds the barren woman to sing because we can have many spiritual children and God is our husband. That is a word even married ladies appreciate hearing. Does He not complete us and is our purpose not to serve and bring others to know Him ? 🙏✝️💖
@@krystalTiger My heart goes out to you krystal, it really does. Even though you haven't gotten what you've desired for so badly, that doesn't mean that God doesn't love you, it doesn't mean that God has forgotten about you. We may not understand what God's plan is, but, we can hold tight onto the fact that we are saved and that we have eternal life with God through the midst of chaos, and that God will and has always been with you through it all. Praise God for that! Maybe putting your worth/fulfilment in relationships, etc. (I know it's hard, I've had to stop doing it myself too), is not what's needed, but rather, finding your worth in God is what's needed. Because you are still very precious and beautiful to God, and I'm sure God wants to show you that.
Dearest Kryst, I was also widowed at 40, and so though we had 3 wonderful children, our hearts were broken also, but my Heavenly Father has cared for and provided as always. My life was already in HIS hands, and I have continued on the path He had set for me, never doubting His promises, provision, love and grace. Continue to trust the Lord Almighty, He is Sovereign over our lives and await the day when we shall meet Him face to face. He is worthy of all glory, honour, and praise. Blessings Trish🙏❤️
Thank you for being a voice to honour and celebrate God’s design for women. It’s refreshing to hear someone come at this topic from an angle of honouring women for who God made us to be, rather than giving us a list of ‘should’s regarding a woman’s role in the world.
If a woman or man doesn't marry does that make them un-whole? Of course not. I think what you mean to say is that a married man and woman are two parts of a whole.
It is true. My mother was very narcissistic and verbally abusive and cruel, but God protected me. Yes there was pain but God brought women into my life who showed me what a mother was. They love me unconditionally and have been my earthly guides on how to be a woman who seeks God. I am so thankful to Him.
Very good. Women, especially young women need to hear this message from men, from ministers and fathers. Now, to often, women feel they must have a career in order to 'be someone' a father will be proud of or others will admire for what they achieve while working, rather than showing approval and admiration that their daughter has chosen to raise and teach her children for an eternal purpose. Thank you for this message I intend to share.
Great word, Martyn, highlighting spiritual truths behind the death agenda of abortion and a culture that often undervalues motherhood to a point of scorn for the "modern professional woman". Especially appreciated the brief Pride and Prejudice synopsis. 😊
Thank you Martyn for this wonderful Biblical explanation of what a woman is and how God designed us equal with man but gave us very different roles: to be a helper and to compliment our husband, to love, to produce children, to be a nurturer, teacher, listener, comunicator, carer for all members of our family. To be a family builder. To be a useful member in the Church and in society. God gave us the highest role in producing future generation, it's the biggest responsibility that women should be honoured to have. No worldly profession can give a woman bigger satisfaction than being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who honours God, respects her husband, and loves her children. God bless you, Martyn Iles ❤🙏 Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks Martyn - a great summary of women's real strengths, I think modern women have no idea how men love femininity, which is being eradicated in our modern culture and replaced with either vanity or male-mimicry.
When I was young, I thought that I must be a helper to everyone in my family to the point of exhaustion. I was engaged in endless physical labor and struggle to please everyone’s wishes until my health was utterly ruined. Now I realize that it would have been more helpful to my husband and children for me to teach them how they could help our family.
As a very little girl God planted "Suez Canal" into me. As a very young woman HE planted and developed an interest in the "Gerkers". You can't put woman in a box just as God Himself is not boxable either. Blessings.
Praise God!! This is where the cowardly preachers fail! Look at our culture -- you'd have to hate your fellow image-bearers to not give them this truth!
Sin (fornication, pornography) shall not have dominion over you. For you are not under the law but under grace. Keep this in your heart recite it, until it dominates your thoughts when you think of porn. Confess it as well.
I love everything you have to say here and you have enlightened me to so much. The only objection I have is that Gen 3:15 is talking about Mary and her offspring being Jesus and all the followers of Jesus, which you went on to say indistinctly, but I think its really important to honour who the woman is - the new Eve - Mary.
Mary is not "the new Eve" there's no foundation in the Bible for such an assertion, it's another RC addition. Mary was a devout Jewish girl, 100% human. John's gospel shows that, in spite of all the signs and miracles she had witnessed, she still had no faith in Jesus at the beginning of his ministry, when she went with her other sons to try and bring him home!
@@ulrichkuhlmann5459 To magnify the Lord was a common form of worship as seen in Psalm 34:3, "O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together." Also Psalm 69:30, "I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving." And yes, Mary sees God as her Saviour because like the rest of us, she was a human being. Whilst certainly blessed to be chosen to bear and raise Jesus, she was not sinless, and admitted the need for a saviour.
Is this your own theology? "god created man for conquest". There is no "often despised motherhood" anywhere in genesis 3.15. There is no "seed of the woman" anywhere in genesis 3.15. In the OT human seed is strictly male sperm. There was no "slaughter of the innocents" by Herod. Matthew contrived that from Jeremiah 31.15. He even got the context wrong. BTW nurture, succour and intuition are not exclusive to the female of our species.
If you are a woman and have been a mother, then you would understand the ‘often despised motherhood’. And it’s obvious that it won’t be found in Genesis or any other part of the Bible, as there were no career seeking women around until recent history. Mothers in Bible times never placed their babies in day care to go to work… There were a few times in Bible history where very young children (particularly boys) were sought out to be murdered. If you quote scripture, then you’ll find it in your Bible.

Thank you Martyn. More people need to be promoting this truth.
So glad to be a woman created by Wonderful Creator God. No matter what this world says, His Word reigns supreme over my heart forever. 💖
A good woman complements her man and a good man complements his woman and make each other whole
If a woman or man doesn't marry does that make them un-whole? Of course not. I think what you mean to say is that a married man and woman are two parts of a whole.
If this is true, how devastating and terrible is it when we have a mother who is abusive or enables another to abuse us.
It is true. My mother was very narcissistic and verbally abusive and cruel, but God protected me. Yes there was pain but God brought women into my life who showed me what a mother was. Be aware of the wiles of the wicked one. Put on the whole armour of God. Ephesians 6:10-18. Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might 🙏
Thank you Martyn for sharing truth that we are all so desperate to hear, yet too many are afraid to speak.
Exactly! Giving makes you rich! If we give, generous and full measure, we receive.
❤good word. I love that God shows himself through the ones that are powerless in this world to show His mighty love ❤
you are an Australian treasure Mr Iles ❤
Excellent points brother!

Helper and mother … to render strength, enablement, and strength…to give herself to the strengthening of others ….
Martyn thank you for your messages. It is always enlightening and informative, as well as ensuring!

Thanks Martyn - a great summary of women's real strengths, I think modern women have no idea how men love femininity, which is being eradicated in our modern culture and replaced with either vanity or male-mimicry.
And yet many of us are holding onto femininity with recognition of its value …. And staying single :( It also doesn’t seem valued by men anymore.
Beautiful word, God bless 🙏✝️

Thank You. Bless You.
C.S Lewis book "Perelandra comes to mind..
Great trilogy if you get a chance to read it.
❤
Yes, all three books in that trilogy are excellent
Brilliantly explained...!!!!!!!
Amen 🙏♥️✝️ Thank you.
Awesome !!
Hello Martyn have a nice day!
A beautiful explanation, thankyou.
The second best gift that the LORD ever gave me, (the best being salvation and the Holy Spirit) are my children, I enjoy being a mom so much
Martyn thank you for that word. Btw...say 'yes' to the mustache!

I can't wait to meet u as well
Profound. Thank you for this message that reaffirms the beauty and value of women's role in God's immaculate plan.
Amen!
One more time: ACL's loss is Answers in Genesis' gain, hallelujah! 😇
A beautiful description of a woman's Godly role.
Praise God!! This is where the cowardly preachers fail!

Could this be related to the fact that most women have long hair. I belive this is a true sixth sence.

"And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour." Luke 1:46,47. God's word not the churches word.
No, Gen 3:15 is referring to Eve and her offspring. Read what it says with an open mind and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to the truth.

Marriage is to give glory to God. Love is God.
I guess we will make a decision about marriage soon. 🎉
