I connect with Callie on a personal level. I’m a foster kid. Went through a lot to protect my little brother. Suffered through bad homes and shit. Even though she is just a character, I have so much respect for her. She put others before herself. Stay strong, even when life gets tough. Love u all. ♥️
This is exactly why I made the video. Connecting with characters even if they are just on TV has made me feel so much less alone in a lot of my struggles. Love u too. ❤️
I was a foster kid with my 2 sisters and my 3 brothers my biggest brother did have to look after all of us all because my mom would leave us in the house alone for days weeks months years and did not feed us we eat out of bins and dead rats and mouses and then when I was 2 I was put in foster care I went with my one sister and went and stayed there then brother's went to different foster parents and my other 2 was not born yet then when I was 5 my sister was scared and was scared of me it scared me she did have to go to some one else and then when I was 8 my brothers went back to my dad and I had just me then I had a friend she was in foster care when she was 2 week old and we lived up together we still see each other but I did not see my sister since when she left and I saw my brothers 1 month ago but I was always bullied in primary school and high school but when I was 8 I got adopted so me and callie are similar
SUMMARY OF BEGINNING: Stef, a dedicated police officer, is in a relationship with Lena. The two have built a close-knit family with Stef's biological son, Brandon, and adopted twins, Mariana and Jesus. Callie's blunt commentary about the atypical family hits a nerve with the twins, who struggle with their own identities. Then the girl discovers a secret that could land Mariana in trouble. Brandon helps Callie navigate the social scene at high school, but she skips school to meet up with an old friend. Her behavior makes Stef and Lena second-guess their decision to help her. The "maker of this video" just compiled a bunch of different scenes from an actual 5-season show on Netflix called "The Fosters". The "maker of this video" should be giving credit where it is due.
this is the one show that has made me cry like no other. the relationships, the drama, the rivalry, the sex, everything. it all comes together as a whole thing and it turned out to be one of the greatest shows i’ve ever watched
I dont understand people who dont like callie. Sure she does alot of stupid things, but then so do the other kids and she has more of a reason to be the way she is. She has such a big heart and is brave in standing up for others.
Agreed! Even though she's done some stupid sh*t throughout her journey, her intentions were always in the right place whereas all the other teenagers in the show were selfish brats and would often do the most stupid things for self benefit only.
Callie is a badass who has been through fucking hell and back she is a true hero and I don’t think I could ever be as brave as this character. Her actress is so good at playing the character. I’ve never looked up to a character so much and I think I can say for everyone watching this that they have cried at least once.
Callie just took blow after blow after blow. She was constantly knocked down and still always chose to do what she thought was right. One of the best character developments EVER in a show❤️
I never realized how good her accent has gotten through the years. In the first season you could still hear a bit of it but now she's gotten so much better at shifting accents.
The sad part about all this it's very true to how many kids in foster homes turn out and deal with on a basis, I cried so hard since she basically lived my life and to this day I still deal with many of these things and hopefully I have just as good as an ending as her
I've went through many foster cares and throughout that time I've been sexually, physical, and mentally abused. There's been many nights were I had no no desire to go on with my life. The system really is broken. They think it's fine and shove the foster care children to the side like we're nothing. I turned 14 a couple months ago and my one wish was to be adopted by this really nice gay couple but unfortunately it didn't pull through so I'm stuck in a brand new home all over again. Ever since I was 8 years old I have not had anyone to speak for me and I'm tired of it.
I'm sitting here crying and I don't know what say but thank you. The character development of Callie Adams Foster is incredible but what is even more incredible is the real-life implication of this story. It is so real in so many ways and captures how broken the system is and it has been allowed to swallow the future of so many children who just need one person to make them feel like they do in fact matter. So thank you truly.
When i began watching i was so "Yes Brandon and Callie, yeessss" but now i know that i like them more as the best friends that they are, the siblings that they are to each other now.
She's right about the system being broken I know I've been there yrs ago it's not fun u get mistreated and abuse an more. I'm Soo PROUD of her for STANDING up for the other foster kids
I am so sorry to hear that you were in the system. my friend is in the system and because of my personal experiences I want to foster children when I get my life together.
I loved all the seasons. I won't say I know what Callies been through but I was in foster care and in the system as a child and I was mistreated and abused. the system is definitely broken and it needs to be fixed. I'm so glad she is now a lawyer and doing well.
My grandma, her twin and some of her other siblings were in the system for a while and they literally got hit on skin after they showered and stuff its a really bad system. I'm sorry you had to go through that I hope you are doing amazing now!
She wasn't standing up for . other people she stood up for one woman cuz she was GAY.. Before not GAY later GAY. Not a good story to read about or to look up to.
I feel like the Quinns wanted to know and keep Callie with their family but they took it to far when Sophia and Robert denied her a chance at finally being happy and I feel like Callie didn't deserved what she was put through. Callie was a very powerful character and she was probably too good of an empowering and inspiring soul to deserve too much lack of understanding from other people. Callie is probably one of the most underestimated and misunderstood humans, television has to offer.
Callie has had a hard life but she always put others before herself and would do anything to help even if it means getting in trouble. She might make the world a better place
That is the definition of one hella of a strong young lady. She keeps her head strong even when the world is pushing her down. N what made it amazing is that, she believes in what is right. I am so touches by this
Callie sure has a long story. An hour and 24 minutes and 3 seconds long to be exact. Lol. This video was beautifully made however and is a true masterpiece. Well done!

My mom and sister used to watch the Fosters, I didn't really think about anything related to it, until I had stumbled upon this video, I watched it. Without skipping whatsoever. It had changed my perspective of the whole show, the emotion, the acting, and the growth of the characters throughout the story/plot. 10/10
when i saw it was over an hour, i was like no way im gonna watch it all. But this was made so beautifully that i watched it all and loved every second of it. You did a great job at portraying Callie's whole story throughout the show.
This video almost made me cry because of how much Callie has gone through. This is an amazing video. This is also the best representation of Callie and her life that I've ever seen. Callie's life also kind of reflects how messed up the system is because even though this might not be based off of a true story, there are a lot of foster kids who have gone through things like this and I think this is an amazing video that gives hope to people who have lost hope.
I never realised how much Callie has gone through until I watched this. She is such a strong character and has grown so much. This is such a great video that’s for making it
The Fosters is so underrated and such a beautiful, compelling story. Thank you so much for putting what had to be hours and hours of work to make this gorgeous montage. You did an amazing job and just made me want to go and rewatch this phenomenal show. It's been years since I saw the early seasons, so there was so much I had forgotten, so it was like watching all over again. I held off the tears til Callie was rescuing Jude though..(so a whole 3 minutes 58 seconds lol). Thanks for doing such a good job and not making it choppy, it really felt like a movie and flowed SO well. PLEASE make more like this.
Callie was completely so lost when she came to the fosters but sense she became a part of the family and that she got to be loved by Brandon she changed to a very much better and beautiful woman she owes them all everything she’s wouldn’t had become the girl she is today if Stef hadn’t taken her into her family she owes “THE FOSTERS” everything!!!!!!!
She finally got an amazing family. They all changed because of them too. Mariana wouldn't be the same with Callie. They all love Callie and owe her as much as she owes them
This is one of the best shows ever because it teaches such valuable lessons! Will always love this show. Callie is one of the best tv show character in my opinion her growth is amazing and she gone through so much. Just wow!
I live in Greece so I never knew this show even existed, never seemed to have come across "The Fosters" so that I could watch it. You did such a good job with this, that you compelled me to look for it, so that I for one will watch it from the beginning, all of it. Thank you so much, I am always looking for shows worthwhile, and you convinced me that it is.
Can't believe there are no comments here yet, so I will start. This is so amazing, I love watching these types of videos. Seeing the Character grow and become the person they are now is just amazing and your scene choices were on point. I just love Callie
X Zoe X truly this story of this strong young lady was just heart breaking. It makes me want to help children who have been heartbroken by being passed around to different abusers. This story broke my heart and mended my heart. God bless all children who are forced to go through this 😢❤️😘
Thanks So Much For the Edit and post. I had to stop watching it a few years back because a huge Fan of the Show...it seemed like the show would not allow a happy ending for Callie...I missed a lot and love the new show "GOOD TROUBLE", so so much...but thanks to you...I now know why she was able to be the clerk she is today...
@@astonheddle1782 the show is called The Foster and it has five seasons and has already ended a few months ago (2018), and it has now a spin off called Good Trouble based on two main characters from The Fosters who are now trying to find their path while living together in another city, it's currently still airing, both are amazing shows to watch😊
this is a great kind of movie format, a kind of prolonged synopsis, edited & cut in a way to compress like 9hrs of film into under 1.5hrs without any loss of story line... quite a job you've done here Lexi
They should’ve at least renamed the fosters “Callie vs The World” since Callie had a lot of enemies in her life during her whole Story Edit: Thank you for 1.9K likes
Naw I like the name the fosters because not everything was abt Callie, it was Callie and the fosters because they literally helped so much thought the whole story and it was a beautiful family!
When I first started the video I was like I’ll only watch a small part but the editing is so so so good I got sucked in. This was truly amazing of you to edit all this. I know it must’ve taken foreverrrrrrrrr because people complain about editing a five minute video let alone more then an hour. Well done
When I first started watching the fosters I wanted Callie and Brandon to be together but as the show went on I like them better as siblings best friends...I actually liked Wyatt and Callie...
I love this show. It shows a system that I live in and how it is and has been broken. This show opens up a lot of awareness, as well as this video. Thank you for creating this because it really means a lot. Callie really means a lot, she is a real role model even as a show character. Thank you so freaking much 💕💕
When I heard about the fosters I thought I wasn’t going to be able to watch it nor like it. I’ve watched a few edits here and there and I was confused. Then I watched this and I fell in love, right after watching this, like a year ago, I watched the fosters. I am so glad I did cause I fell in love with the show and all the characters. Idk how many times I’ve cried through this video😂
im so glad and honestly proud that you went through the trouble of putting this together. I know it couldn't have been easy but it made getting to know her story a lot easier. thank you
Lexi oh my gosh, when I watched this there was maybe a few thousand views (from what I can remember). Now it almost has 1,000,000. I’m so happy for you.
watched this so many times and i still cry. it's so wonderfully made but her story is also just so heartbreaking. she is such a strong character who has been through so much and she still persevered. one of the lines that always sticks with me is "what's it going to take for you to start valuing your life"
wow, I was sobbing the whole time. I had to stop watching the show bc I couldnt take all the bad things that kept happening to callie, but I always wanted to know what happened to her and I always desperately wanted her to have a happy ending. to watch her journey and to see her grow, to see her finally understand her worth and her power, was incredible. thank you putting this together.
I love Callie she's an amazing person, she brings out the fire within me,in my heart, to be voice for the voiceless, for the ones who don't have a voice and I would happy to be that voice! I wanna help people I wanna make a difference in the world,I wanna help immigrants who aren't always bad people, help children seperated from the families from the boarder, be an activist for autism ,for the LGBTQ+ community, stand up for I believe in whats right even if it means standing alone, to help old people get better health care and checks, help people with disabilities, talk more about the importance of mental health, help foster kids etc. talk more about things that not many people wanna talk about, things that's not always acknowledged, sexual assault victims/abuse etc of both genders it happens to anyone, to stop bullying and prevent suicide victims, i wanna kids/teens know they're not alone, help them and teach them that it's okay to be different, because being different is what makes you special and beautiful, that have felt alone, isolated, outcasts like they didn't belong, & Discrimination is not just about race, and my America is about a world full of people mixed together of all kinds of races/backgrounds/countries a melting pot, of all united, all races, gender, sexuality, religion, disabilities etc that is my America not the one where '' make america white again'' your not making America great like that, people like the character from Foster make america great, immigrants make america great, I don't judge you by your race or who you love etc I judge by what kind of person you are and how you treat other human beings cause inside we're all the same,we all have bones....and when people tell other people to stop speaking the language thats not English it's not cool it's racist, and america doesn't have an official language even if the most spoken one is English AND also Spanish as well. i'm a proud Latina that's Puerto Rican who is a mother and happens to be a bisexual woman who talks about things like these on her RUclips channel and always likes to be herself,to express herself, tells stories, who is funny, kind and sweet, awkward, weird who yes have a learning disability and mental illness etc and likes to speak up,my channel is a safe space for everyone included,be yourself and love who you are, be your beautiful, authentic self and always unapologetically be you.
Dude, this is a wonderful edit. Wanna know how I know? I watched the whole thing, the whole hour and a half, and I've never even seen the show. Definitely going to watch it now though!
Never would've anticipated the Callie/Talia friendship! Also the scene where she lays down in the bed Liam raped her in is just horrifying, every single time. Maia Mitchell does NOT get enough credit for this role.
Watching this made me cry so much. I love The Fosters. Such an amazing show. I love Callie’s character as well and how Maia Mitchell portrayed Callie. Amazing video💜
I saw this video on my recomended page and after watching the first 10 minutes I went straight to Netflix. This show has changed my life for the better... I just wanted to say thank you so much for amazing video😊
Both Lena and Stef saw the look Callie gave them they couldn’t stop helping her they both saw she needed someone to love something to belong too like she always wanted and she saw the pain and heartache Callie showed!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know there are a lot of ads. i don’t have any control about that. I KNOW the music is loud and most of you can only hear out of one side, but the volume does get better throughout the video and you DO NOT have to watch. please stop commenting about these things. i really appreciate everyone who has commented something nice, it means the world to me.
CelestialDreaming you put this together yourself WOW what an achievement my humble opinion you did an absolutely magnificent job and thank you for sharing your talent At first I thought background music little loud but then it changed THANKS heaps Cel D i appreciate
This absolutely amazing!! What a great video! Callie's story shows how strong and powerful she is and I think you portrayed that really well!! Please keep making videos
I love how everyone always thought marianna was gonna be a lawyer and Callie was gonna be like some sort of artist but now Callies a lawyer and mariannas a programmer
This is the best edit I have ever seen. You are so talented! The fact that you can take 1 character and make a whole movie from her is breathtaking. You should be very proud of yourself!
This is amazing, I completely agree with the "who watches an hour and a half long video", then I cried in the first 2 minutes and couldn't stop watching it! Celestialdreaminq you did a great job!!!
I spent ages trying to find a video where someone understand what it is like to be in foster care, family problems and being adopted, this video has all of it, thank you!!
@@gutentag9190 The story line changed massively, and here presence was unnecessary. Rita was the part of her life she wanted to avoid (constant failures due to similar choices), her presence would have reminded the mistakes she repeatedly did and the person she used to be (not caring about herself, feeling of worthlessness, ect) while she become a part of a bigger thing, and ideal.
This is an amazing Story for Callie. I have watched every single episode of the Fosters She started out as a troubled teen and with the kindness and help from the Fosters: Stef, Lena, Jesus, Brandon, and Mariana, she became stronger and got back onto the path she was meant to be on. I'm glad Callie found her family.

just me........ no really thats how movies work even ones based on true stories.
Not really. It’s just about her story.. it’s just really wrong. No where near to a movie though

Strongest character I know on a show. Her story is so touching and so real and imperfect and that's why so many people including me can relate to her.
Nae Nae hence why I’ve rewatched this show multiple times 🙏🙏
😪
@@kylie.sparks_ I totally get that and I had to wait and age out on me so im 19 and finally living with my bio mom,
I hope you get that one day❤️
I'm so sorry you had to deal with that. I can't relate but I understand the issue
I never watched this show . But omg Callie is an amazing actress . I cried everytime she cried .
Prsh V I really advise u watch it, it’s so interesting and addictive.
What's the name of this show ?
Thandiwe-Tlale Mashale The fosters
Thank you ayooluwa
Thandiwe-Tlale Mashale the fosters (it’s on Freeform and Netflix)
i never realized how much she has been threw then i watched this
Same!

Alejandra Torres oh oops thx
ik she went though a lot but her life was really tuff
Wdym you never realized the entire show is just about how shitty her life was I cried about a hundred times
Kimberley Chin i enjoyed making it!! and thank you so much for watching!!💕
@@celestialdreaminq You are so welcome.

Callie is the reason why I love “the fosters” show , it was so empowering, I literally sat and binged watch this whole 5 seasons of this show
Mine is Mariana (and Jesus)
Powerful words to live by:
"When your lucky it is your job to give something back and when you see something wrong to stand up and say so."
When i began watching i was so "Yes Brandon and Callie, yeessss" but now i know that i like them more as the best friends that they are, the siblings that they are to each other now.
Omg sis same!!!!
hi
She's right about the system being broken I know I've been there yrs ago it's not fun u get mistreated and abuse an more. I'm Soo PROUD of her for STANDING up for the other foster kids
I am so sorry to hear that you were in the system. my friend is in the system and because of my personal experiences I want to foster children when I get my life together.
The system is HORRIBLY broken. I am currently in the system and it is SO hard
This makes me wanna rewatch the show again.

Ignacio Diaz wow that’s thoughtful
Yeh now @ that not true what they did
Blood doesn’t make a family, love does.

Callie has had a hard life but she always put others before herself and would do anything to help even if it means getting in trouble. She might make the world a better place
She’s literally grew so much as a character and I love how devoted she was ❤️
That is the definition of one hella of a strong young lady.

You did a great job at portraying Callie's whole story throughout the show.
thank you so much!!❤️
This video almost made me cry because of how much Callie has gone through.
She impacted most of the peoole she came across in some way or another, Hanna Juarez!

They should’ve at least renamed the fosters “Callie vs The World” since Callie had a lot of enemies in her life during her whole Story

Naw I like the name the fosters because not everything was abt Callie, it was Callie and the fosters because they literally helped so much thought the whole story and it was a beautiful family!
Exept the entire show does not revolve around her
that’s a lame name. but also, if you watched the show you’d know it wasn’t only about callie, even the second show it was about callie and mariana

watched this so many times and i still cry. it's so wonderfully made but her story is also just so heartbreaking. she is such a strong character who has been through so much and she still persevered. one of the lines that always sticks with me is "what's it going to take for you to start valuing your life"
The amount of work put into this. This must have took days. I love this. This is amazing.
wow, I was sobbing the whole time.
I wanna help people
I wanna make a difference in the world,I wanna help immigrants who aren't always bad people, help children seperated from the families from the boarder, be an activist for autism ,for the LGBTQ+ community, stand up for I believe in whats right even if it means standing alone, to help old people get better health care and checks, help people with disabilities, talk more about the importance of mental health, help foster kids etc. talk more about things that not many people wanna talk about, things that's not always acknowledged, sexual assault victims/abuse etc of both genders it happens to anyone, to stop bullying and prevent suicide victims, i wanna kids/teens know they're not alone, help them and teach them that it's okay to be different, because being different is what makes you special and beautiful, that have felt alone, isolated, outcasts like they didn't belong,
& Discrimination is not just about race, and my America is about a world full of people mixed together of all kinds of races/backgrounds/countries a melting pot, of all united, all races, gender, sexuality, religion, disabilities etc that is my America not the one where '' make america white again'' your not making America great like that, people like the character from Foster make america great, immigrants make america great, I don't judge you by your race or who you love etc I judge by what kind of person you are and how you treat other human beings cause inside we're all the same,we all have bones....and when people tell other people to stop speaking the language thats not English it's not cool it's racist, and america doesn't have an official language even if the most spoken one is English AND also Spanish as well. i'm a proud Latina that's Puerto Rican who is a mother and happens to be a bisexual woman who talks about things like these on her RUclips channel and always likes to be herself,to express herself, tells stories, who is funny, kind and sweet, awkward, weird who yes have a learning disability and mental illness etc and likes to speak up,my channel is a safe space for everyone included,be yourself and love who you are, be your beautiful, authentic self and always unapologetically be you.
