Netzarim Corridor: the militarised zone that cuts Gaza in two • The Observers - France 24

Since the first days of Israel’s war on Gaza, the Israeli military has been constructing a militarised corridor cutting the Palestinian territory in half. The corridor, used by the army for surveillance and as a base for raids, cuts the northern part of the territory from the southern part. Satellite images document the progress of the military project and the destruction entailed in creating the so-called Netzarim Corridor, named for a former Israeli settlement in Gaza dismantled in 2005.
