Exactly. I loved how Jamie and Tommy Lee, who are great actors, brought the characters to life. I read they remained great friends until Jerry’s death in 2016.

this was a great movie, very sweet and honest. i knew when i saw jamie fox and tommy lee jones that it would be something good to watch so i didn't even watch the preview, i had no idea what it would be about. i watched this on the same night the phillies won something because i could hear my husband yelling in the other room and how fitting that he was playing his "victory music" he always plays when philly wins something at the same time they won in court in the movie 😊

Jamie Fox is a fabulous actor. So is Tommy Lee Jones. So if you have a movie with the both of them it’s going to be good. The only way it would be bad is if the director and the script was lousy. But both these actors have been around long enough to know a good script and director. So without even seeing all this trailer, I know it’s going to be good.
It was fantastic as you’ve predicted. You’ll love it. What’s great about it, it’s a true story. The remained great friends throughout the years!

My mothers’ gamily go back 175 years, in texas. I could not be more ashamed of them. They lived in Poland. They were Roman Catholic. They were not royalty, but they were wealthy. They left for texas. Have you ever thought about that journey? The cost was insane. One had to afford traveling to NYC. then, one had to secure separate passage…sometimes at a new port. These people did not have banks, like we know them. Their banks were outposts, frequently controlled by outlaws. These people spent LITERAL YEARS trying to get to texas. The journey was well beyond harrowing, and only the wealthy survived-and not always.
