Netanyahu says Hamas ceasefire proposal falls short as Israeli forces take control of Rafah crossing

- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday the latest truce proposal with Hamas falls far short of Israel's essential demands, adding military pressure remains necessary to return hostages held in Gaza.
Israeli forces earlier took control of the Palestinian side of the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza on Monday, a move Netanyahu said was "a very significant step towards destruction of remaining military capabilities of Hamas."
In Tel Aviv, dozens of protesters blocked a road to demonstrate against the army's recent operation in Rafah, which they feared could affect any deals to release the hostages.

Netanyahu & IOF need to be held accountable for their terrorism and war crimes!
Those are not Hamas flags! Those are PALESTINE flags
They are one and the same thing. Palestinians are Hamas.
@@AvaT42 not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are we now?
@radwanghazimoumeh Granted, the State of Palestine and Hamas are technically enemies but most Palestinians support Hamas, so I'm skeptical of the notion of so called "innocent Palestinians." I don't see any difference between Hamas and most Palestinians. If you support terrorism then you are a terrorist yourself.
There is no such thing as a Palestinian Flag 🤔🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣
Who are Hamas? They’re Palestinian! It’s the fact that nobody can deny.
And Netanyahu falls short of being good for Israel and the world at large.
Oh NOW Hamas wants a ceasefire... 🙄

Israel today has never fought a real combat , only to go after those who can’t defend themselves
Anyone can tell me what war they ever fought in the ground with other combat forces before the invasion of Palestine 1948 ?
Not true, you will never win against Israel. You can keep demonizing, however it means nothing.
I’d tell you but you’d never believe me 😂
Ok spill it !
Because I never seen any proof
Yom Kippur w@r and the six day w@r.

The answer to it all is no as yes and yes as no. The end as a start of the end.

@@worstknightmayor4439 There were over the ceasefire written up by Egypt and Hamas. They were hailing it as a victory and dancing in Raffa. Some of the people interviewed also said that the ceasefire has strengthened their resolve to attack Israel again.

They are doing that. It's called the siege of Gaza.
It's amazing how uninformative western media is. More like a B movie script.
YES & NO! Your understanding of West media is also pretty uninformative, likewise.
Here’s what you need to know:
West Media separate “hard news” from “opinions”, they usually don’t mix it together.
If you want deeper news analysis, go to “opinion” session or “editorials”.
They must be closing in on the oilfields by now, their is barely anyone left in Palestine. (Palestine is not hamas)
Granted, the State of Palestine and Hamas are technically enemies but majority of Palestinians support Hamas so I don't see any difference betweeen Hamas and most Palestinians.
Rafah crossing is a crucial point. They may be able to cut off the Palestinian weapons supply from there, even though it's mostly via underground tunnels.
The war can be over soon.
Very crucial, as it is the main route for humanitarian aid coming in. Netanyahu will stop 90% of food, accelerating the humanitarian catastrophe and plunging even more Palestinians into famine.
It's literally impossible to demonstrate more genocidal-intent than this.

@@mikeymike7721 That's like pointing to 9/11 to justify the Iraq invasion even though the hi-jackers were saudi CIA assets. Never bothered to think much about that huh.
Ronald Raegan allied himself with the Mujahideen to fight against the soviet union. We know America has armed and trained isis cells in the past to do the bidding for them in Libya and Syria. You think Netanyahu wouldn't do the same with hamas? The same way Obama and Hillary used isis? I personally think Oct7th was likely Netanyahu's doing and I know that's a bold claim but all the evidence points to Netanyahu letting it happen.
Reminder that Netanyahu had Egypt intel literally warning him of the attack days in advance. He not only chose to ignore the intel, even worse he decided to move most security to the West Bank, making it as easy as possible for hamas to carry out their attack. Hamas couldn't have achieved Oct7th without Netanyahu's help.

@@vulcanh254 This is a valid concern. 300 trucks per day entered via Rafah and Kerem Shalom which are now both closed. That's over six thousand tons of load per day. It's the main reason Gaza remained "on the brink of famine" for months without going over the edge. Israel must reopen both (one has always been under their control).
Palestinians support Hamas, Palestinians voted for Hamas to be their leaders.
