Put a pan of water on the woodstove to add moisture to the air. and they make fans that work off the heat and blows the heat .
i love doing this! sometimes i add essential oil as well. i forgot to do this trick this go around, won't forget next time :)
We used to put potpourri in a ceramic bowl filled w water on top of our wood burning stove. My mom would dry out her rose petals at the end of the season and mix it w cinnamon and it would scent the house beautifully!
I would've never went in that cold water. I hate the cold but u seem to enjoy it.

So sorry about the eggs, but necessity is the mother of invention.
I started traveling w packets of tuna in the pouch just in case our eggs broke on our off grid treks. Minimal space, little to no water, and no can opener needed & no mush like innthe canned variety 😊

haha it isnt there yet! we dont want to get one dirty and/or ruined while we are building the inside. once we get more projects checked off the mattress will come :) plus, it makes for a more gritty, camp-like experience now that one day we will look back on with smiles
