Great Video, as usual, guys. I think that the first thing that they need is to get rid of Jacob Trouba. I think that they need to trade him for Patrik Laine (I would say a package deal is the best way to go & before anyone gets mad, you're going to get one of the only ways to get rid of his $8M/year Salary Cap, so exchange it for A 40+ goal scorer). I think that it's a trade that would benefit both teams, assuming Columbus is one of the teams he'd go to. John Davidson gets his boy back. Let me know what you think
As of now, Goodrow's been bought out. I would then trade Lindgren's rights. It hurts to say that, but between Goodrow's contract and a presumed Lindgren contract, that's at least $7mil you can put elsewhere. Some of it will probably go to Schneider's extension, but the rest can go towards--hopefully--a true RW1 or a Top-4 Left D. I would prefer a LD like Zadorov. He's huge, and he's a better puck mover than I think he gets credit for. However, he's probably going to be expensive and i'm not sure I want to overpay another defenseman whose ceiling is 2nd pair, but is probably better suited for bottom pair.

Move Kreider to Center- He played a lot of Center at BC- and put Othmann on the Left Side and a Bertuzzi-type on the Right Side. Zibanejad is nothing but a PP/PK Specialist-- FACT! He can Center Sykora & Vesey/Remke on the 4th Line.
K Miller is soft. I am not loyal to players, I'm loyal to the team. I don't care who goes as long as the team moves forward. I've been a fan for 50 years and I've seen so many player come and go. If you want to win cups you have to know when it's time to move on from players. Z bad is not a 1st line center and you win from the back end up the middle. The only center who can win draws and is a real center is Troch and he's a 2nd line center. Our core is Soft plain and simple, breads,kreids,z bad, kakko are not dogs not one of them can play big, hence no 5v5 success. Skill doesn't mean cups. How the hell are they going to afford Shesterkin after next year? And can someone please verify that Zbad and Kreider both turned down the captaincy. If they did, that speaks volumes. K Miller is my target to get us the center we need and shift Zbad to rw. Can't we ship captain clueless off to Utah retain 3 mil. and throw in a mid level prospect? They need d men and I don't want to hear oh he's the captain, no one cares. 80% of the fan base would drive him to Utah. 1 cup in 50 years speaks volumes and the 1 we won took years off my life. This team is just not built for playoff success if you run it back. It's going to be a rough off season unless Drury has an ace up his sleeve.

they should trade miller while there may be some teams that still think he has potential to be better than replacement level

No Quick Fixes-- This Team has ZERO CHANCE of going all the way as long as Panarin & Zibanejad are around.
