    My ASL professor shared one of your videos in class from 2 years ago (Raising A Deaf Child) since that day I subscribed and I have been following you. I love the beautiful relationship and connection you have with your family. May the Lord be with you giving you the strength you need to move on during your day. Be strong in the Lord my sister. Don't be to hard on yourself take your time and do little projects at a time. Try not to overwhelmed yourself with many things at a time and a lot of thinking will affect your emotions. Remember when special occasions and memories arrive don't ignore them just try to do something new not to replace them but to start creating and forming your journey. It's something I have been working on. I know God is carrying you right now. Be blessed 🙏🏽❤🤟🏽

      You're so sweet, thank you for your kind words. :) I definitely learned last year to not do too many things at the same time. I'm much better about that now. :) Thanks again!

    Hello!! I wanted to say hi because you are an AMAZING person that I greatly admire. You have helped me a ton with my learning ASL, I can't thank you enough. I'm sorry for what you have been going through.. I'll keep you in prayer if you wish. But just wanted to say hello and thank you so much for the time you put into these videos, it has helped so much 😊

    I did not turn on CC, and I'm glad! While still a rank beginner, I caught more words than I expected, and was pleasantly surprised to find later in the transcript that I got the main gist of this video!
    I picked up that you were taking a course.
    I'm going to re-watch to challenge myself to pick up some more.
    And way to be a caring human, always trying to learn and grow. You are a great role model for everyone, deaf, HOH or not. ❤️

      Did you not turn on closed captions? Vlogs after Week 19 now have the feature to turn on/off captions, for those who'd prefer to watch without captions or would like to practice their comprehension. All my videos on youtube are captioned.

      @@ChristianConspirator I too was going to ask the same but, I think it's best to see it like in a real world situation. If you would like to slow down the video, there are options to go 3/4 , 1/2 and 1/4 speed in the RUclips video settings. Admittedly, this is one of the first few videos that I've ever had to turn on CC from Ashley. I'm ok with it, just had to know. Thank you Ashley! 😊

    Hopefully, this last week (end of July, 2021) wasn't as challenging / difficult as that one was back in 2020. Even when your RUclips posts aren't all smiles, good news & success stories, I still enjoy watching them because there are new signs to learn, and another update about how your personal journey is going. 🤟👍👍!

    Racism is such a horrible thing and I’ve seen it all over. Will never understand it. That’s a good idea about treating it like a real class. 2020 was a strange year, but it had a lot of good moments for me as well. Got to help a lot of people during it and that’s what I enjoy doing. Have a happy Wednesday!

    This is quite offensive, where are the subtitles for people who can't understand this? Deaf people complain when there is no sign language translation.

  • @Starcrash6984
    @Starcrash6984 3 года назад +2

    I imagine it's less offensive to talk about George Floyd now that Derek Chauvin was found guilty of his murder and sentenced to prison. There are far fewer people who want to defend him now that a court has ruled on it.

      As many cops as there were on scene, there was no reason to have him on the ground with your knee on his neck for that length time. There was plenty enough law enforcement presence to detain in a way that wouldn’t cause bodily harm.

    • @seanfortine2707

      @@alton791 The reasons why police handle it that way are many. The mob actually made matters worse. I suppose they could have hogtied him, stuffed him back in the car, and left with lights and sirens on to get away from the growing mob, but he would have been just as dead because of the drugs he was on.
