these LED light bars honestly are blinding to me at night. You mentioned a lower power mode, how much of a difference does that make? I would imagine it's still sufficient for night usage. I do think the flood mouse is a really nice feature depending on application. I see a lot of my Jeep buddies switching to LED light bars instead of the old halogens everyone had been using since the dawn of time.
The Federal Signal 6 switch box can the slider switch be used in a traditional sense i.e. slider switch 1 is all rear, etc. so the push buttons above can be used for other functions like sirens, takedowns, alley lightning, etc.? I am new and in the learning process. Thanks in advance for the info.!
I've got a question regarding the 6 button FedSig controller. In the manual it lists 6 different keypads to choose from for the Valor. Can you program the aux buttons on some of the available keypads to any of the bar's functions you choose? I'd like to use this small controller if possible but if capability is too limited I'll have to get something else.

Most LED light bars have a dimming function built in now. The difference varies by manufacturers, but is usually around a 30% decrease in power.
