very good discussion except few things. Idea of nation may have been developed further in 19th century but it was there before. French Republic for example came into existence towards the end of 17th century. Also, when someone says ‘this was found, that was found’ during excavation a better question to ask is what method was used to codify the message, symbols vs texts. Historians often overlook the methods used to read what was ‘written’ on the excavated evidences.
