Hi Kent. That buzzing is a low air warning. The bus must have a slow air leak. I am a retired truck driver of over 40 years. The trucks and air brakes from the early years if you lost air pressure you lost brakes. the more modern system have a early warning system that comes on at about 80 psi. and at about 60 psi. the brakes will lock up. So if you are driving and the warning sound comes on you best get off the road as the unit will lock up at approximate 60 psi and you may block traffic or worst go into a skid and or cause a accident ! Please trace this leak and repair before you take your family on a road trip.
Good to see the F-100 mobile. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT WHEN YOUR FINISHED. Like I've said before, i LOVE the 60s and 70s Ford pickups. Wish I still had both of my 74s (Ranger & F-250 4x4). Love seeing your whole family together. HAPPY LATE FATHER'S DAY
Nice to see the junkyard "dog" again. You guys have done an awesome job bringing it back around. Love seeing the whole family involved. Keep up the great content.
Kent, your carb. rebuild went really well! That's something I would of tried, maybe, in my younger days. Looks like the truck is coming along. Keep up the good work, and see you next time. Be safe, and be blessed.
Great job getting the Junkyard Ford up and running. Good seeing the whole family out for a test run. Hope you figure out what the buzzing sound is on the bus. Enjoy your videos. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
I've had the same results with simple green in my ultrasonic cleaner. Harbor Freight sells a cleaner made for it that's cheap, and the aluminum comes out shiny silver. Good video, brother!
Found your channel last night and have watched several of yours and Jack's (awesome young man) videos I subscribed, awesome to see the kids helping out like that, good job mom and dad, I have mechaniced for 42 years now professionally so please don't take this wrong, do your family a favor, when I was just out of high school a friend of my cousin leaned over the fan as you did and raced the engine, a blade came off the fan and went through his chest, please stand to the side over the tire well,
I had a '68 F100 4x4 with a 300 straight six... no power nothin' just a giant steering wheel! It was a tank! She would just run & run but ride was like an old buckboard... hahaha! White with blue interior. Good score. She looks clean.
I love a vehicle that when you open the hood you can see the ground. Easy to work on and If it gets to were you can.t by gasoline you can convert these old trucks to run on gas generates by burning wood.
I remember picking sand plums with my great aunt and grandmother in SW Kansas. Some fun 🤣. Not as many in SW Kansas so had to hunt to find producing plants in the pastures, Good jam and jelly though Thanks for the memories and your labors...

Kent, glad you got the truck going again. It reminds me so much of my 71 F100 that I used to have. I was laughing watching Jack bouncing all over in the seat because that's exactly the way mine used to ride lol. Just curious, you said when you go back to work on Monday.... What do you do for a day job if you don't mind me asking. I can't remember if you have ever told us. Hopefully AJ talked you into going and getting some ice cream for Father's Day!
Hay ken...I'm sure that someone has told you by now...that buzzer in the bus is a low air warning...it will stop when the air gets to pressure built up
On top of the PineSol and other suggestions here, you might try vinegar as a test. I had a spell when I was cleaning a lot of stuff and bought vinegar cheaply by the gallon. You might start diluting it about 50/50 with water. Some come premixed. Think I've seen it at Tractor Supply that way for example. Because it's acidic, it does shine things more in my experience. I've never run pure vinegar but have diluted it less than 50/50 for some tough stains. Won't smell as good as PineSol hahaha.
Great job Jack at your yard sale make sure you have somebody teach you how to use that table saw cuz if you don't do it right you lose fingers. On your truck can't put some tranny fluid in the oil preferred Pennzoil type f it will loosen up those lifters and it won't make so much noise or if you want to do expensify use some mystery oil either driving 50 mi or run it at 900 rpm for 2 hours
The buzzing noise is either your air brakes filling up (air pressure should be between 110 and 120psi) before driving it because the air controls the brakes. Or it could be that you have your MASTER SWITCH on. That is the on off button to make the amber/red lights work. Also it could be the emergency exits. Back door or any of the 4 windows on the sides with the red hand levers must be closed to stop buzzing. (I think that's all.
Most of the switches on the left hand side of driver seat are, master, amber/red, strobe(on roof for foggy and bad weather and night), noise kill (turns off things like A/C,heat,defrost, in case you're listening to the engine alone or radios), heat, defrost, and fan. That's all I can think of
@@SpeedBumpGarage aha.... I don't think any of the busses I've driven have had the alarm go off for the roof hatch, as a matter of fact we used to open them to drive for extra ventilation. Maybe because we only lifted only one side it didn't go off?
For the bus, it sounded like either the emergency window lever was off or someone pulled the hatch lever for the emergency roof. That’s usually what that buzzing indicates.
I've baked cakes and biscuits on charcoal grill and in electric skillet but if we have a black out and things get bad ,I'm glad I have lot of cast iorn.
