@@abellewdota93 yeah I know. But he's also known for not liking the smell of food in his house so he never liked anyone cooking there. I'm so happy actually that he's changed his mind on that. So he doesn't keep eating take out food. And his fridge isn't just filled with water bottles.

Delicious Rendesvous taught him how to cook and he became crazy close with Baek Jong Won who even sends him food and wine like an Uncle. Hahahaha I remember him saying his name in DR, "Hello everyone, I'm Baek Heechul." lol
Out of all his variety shows, DR was the only different one. He saw the struggles of farmers and produce employees/employers and is able to serve others with friends. It's totally diff from his idol image because in that show, the main focus is to help out with the help of friends.

Actually, it's because of COVID. He only ate delivery foods before COVID because it was easier, he doesn't know how to cook and he's a neat freak. Delicious Rendezvous also helped because he had amazing progress in slicing, figuring out the ingredients and cooking in general. Heechul had to be swabbed for possible COVID but fortunately it came out negative, same as Dong Jun.
It's very hard to believe that hochul is younger than heechul. 😂

@@matheajolie9656 before he joined delicious rendezvous, you can rarely saw him buy stock foods in his house because he don't know how to cook. You can seen on other shows where they visited heechul's house, mostly his ref only have bottled water. Either he will order food to eat or to eat outside.
He didnt like any grease or smell from cooking in the house. But if you follow him on this program (my ugly duckling /mom's diary), many his guests were forcibly trying to cook in the house (and making a mess to his suffering) 🤣 and delicious rendezvous def contributes to the change. His development showed from no cooking at all, assisting in cutting up ingredients and lately starting to cook as well.

MLOB contributes a lots to Heechul changes. Things like him frequently having people in his home and let them cook would rarely happen if he didn’t appear on the show. He would stick to the routine of playing game, watching series, cleaning the house or taking care of Kibok. Having the camera there seems to allow him to be more open and accepting to unusual. Plus participation in DR results in his interest in cooking and they’re positive changes we happy for him 😊

With Heecul opening up the windows and cooking inside his house, COVID had something to do with that as well. Knowing how they work outside with his variety shows, when he doesn't have any schedules, he makes sure there's no contact with other people as much as possible. This was the time after he was swabbed for suspected COVID and Dong Jun as well but fortunately, both came out negative. Their management and agency made sure their artists avoid random contacts as much as possible, even the staff on their tapings.
