I think he's only underrated because he decided to stop touring heavily a long long time ago. That was a very conscious decision. Whenever he tours he fills the venue. Also today I feel like big artists in general don't tour as much as they used to, 20 years ago it was pretty common for major tours to hit 100+ cities in a year. Pretty much no one does that anymore.

Although I am glad he was awarded with a Kennedy Center honor, I wonder??? Dick Van Dyke had to wait until he was 95 years old to get his. With all respect to Garth Brooks and others, DVD should got his Kennedy Center Award years before Garth Brooks.
