Why on earth did this cut to the core. It can be extremely bitter-sweet to mourn our younger self and the look back on what was. You are a beautiful soul Melissa x
Do you know how hard it is to not cry while watching this at work!?!?! This is one of my absolute favorite songs by Missy! "No one ever recovers from the hole that leaves" is such a beautiful lyric!
This video is a captivating narrative that helps reinforce this gut- wrenching narrative. The words and their delivery cut deep. Missy knows how to communicate with the depths of our own trauma. Very few artists can truly pull this off. Thank you Missy.
Incredible! I was the one who decided to make 4 into 3. Hardest decision of my life. The pain and sorrow was worth it though, we're both so much happier now. Take care Missy
Powerful. Each of us can only avoid inevitable negation for so long before being forced to embrace it at the end. Letting go of material desires with zenlike calm is ideal. My mother was a hoarder so, when she died, I had to take loads of things to the dump after sifting through it all one last time for her. I still have what remains but alas, I will have to let that all go too and much more eventually...
Every light inside me's on Kiss me now until I'm gone Hold my hips up, take my speech Guide me where the light don't reach But you should know I hate myself For once believing in someone else You should know a part of me Got left behind when four became three Turn the lights out, close my door Toss the evening on the floor Show me there's infinity Hiding in your love for me But you should know I hate myself For once believing in someone else You should know a part of me Got left behind when four became three Careful what you love Careful what you love Be my saviour, be my friend Help me to black out the end Kiss me on my deepest cuts Inside I'm screaming out for us But you should know I hate myself I once believed I was someone else You should know I've burned that dream No one ever recovers from the hole that leaves No one ever recovers from the hole that leaves No one ever recovers from the hole that leaves So careful what you love Careful what you love Be careful loving me
Every moment of this song I felt your emotion now seeing the film clip I feel like it is the most raw expression of emotion shown in a video clip. The facial expressions the effort into every throw, that scream! Your eyes I can see you pain and conflicting emotions thank you Missy for being so true and honest it’s such a refreshing thing to see that even famous and extremely talented people have seasons of doubt and pain
A little teary watch 🥹
Thank you 🙏
Dank you ❤

Relationships are hard when they end. ❤😢
You have always managed to grab me by the heart, Missy.
And again.

I'm not crying, you're crying. Holy moly. Such a powerful video. The song itself broke my heart, safe to say it's now in a million tiny pieces 💔❣❤🔥

Beautifully said, Jim.
Every light inside me's on
Kiss me now until I'm gone
Hold my hips up, take my speech
Guide me where the light don't reach
But you should know I hate myself
For once believing in someone else
You should know a part of me
Got left behind when four became three
Turn the lights out, close my door
Toss the evening on the floor
Show me there's infinity
Hiding in your love for me
But you should know I hate myself
For once believing in someone else
You should know a part of me
Got left behind when four became three
Careful what you love
Careful what you love
Be my saviour, be my friend
Help me to black out the end
Kiss me on my deepest cuts
Inside I'm screaming out for us
But you should know I hate myself
I once believed I was someone else
You should know I've burned that dream
No one ever recovers from the hole that leaves
No one ever recovers from the hole that leaves
No one ever recovers from the hole that leaves
So careful what you love
Careful what you love
Be careful loving me
Love love love.
