The setter is the brain of the team, he decides how the teams play. The brazilian and Argentinian team are know for their fast game thanks to Bruninho and de Cecco. The fast thinking and always see a gap in the opponents defence is a big plus for these setters. Obvious is that their are almost no left handed setters by the best setters in the world. You will only see Raydel Hierrezuelo with some left handed spikes.

aidgoi irsgn'si he is most likely not in the back despite what it appears. In high levels you play a 5-1 system which allows you to have three hitters in front at the same time (the setter is in the back when this happens).

yeah.thanks for that.but they did it strangely i mixed up.there is no benefit for that the player in 4 hits the ball there.one can block both of them. tnx.

yeah I guess the benefit in that particular play was that the block didn't really know to which of the 3 attackers the ball was going, resulting in a very easy smash. no prob

aidgoi irsgn'si I watched this moment many times. It's difficult to see but i think they play with the setter on 1, because simon played many times as opposite. so setter 1, outside hitter 2, middle 3, simon opp 4, lib 5 middle 6. so the libero comes not for the middle but for the outside hitter.

Tube when they serve, the setter is already on 3, it means whether he on (2 or 3 or 4) or he is at back and moved earlier than he should to be there . never mind just let enjoy it!
