I once had a roommate with 2 cats who gave his cats a pinch of catnip before leaving for work, but apparently he forgot to put it away and the cats got into the bag and scattered catnip all over his bed, sheets, dresser, floor, basically everything and tore up the room. When he came home he went into his room and we all just hear him yell "WHATTHEFUCK?!?!"

I had a fluffy cat who was normally sweet and she found a small ziplock bag of catnip I had in a cabinet, pulled it out of the cabinet and went running down the stairs with it in her mouth. She rubbed her head all over the bag for five minutes straight, and when I finally started to pull the bag out of her paws, she grabbed the bag back with both paws and hugged it to her as if she was a heroin addict needing a fix. I realized this was not something she could handle regularly, so I eventually disposed of the catnip and she forgot about it.

Funny story my childhood cat never touched catnip when I tried giving it to her and I thought it was because maybe she was an innocent cat or she was too good for that.
