Half of those people are intimidated by a bunch of YG rookies and trainees. Its funny how they don't give a fuck and keep laughing and being loud as fuck during their senior stage. I love how they keep cheering. These YG rookies are so lit and talented. Bobby wore that expensive ass Rolex watch when he was only a trainee. Song Minho has been on this industry for only a year and got his first #1 solo single with SMTM. These people have the rights to be loud and do whatever they want.
ikon have said many times they just have hard time interacting with others. They are finally making friends with monsta x guys and other people now. They all are bunch of kids. I mean its coo lthat people are intimidated by them but I wish they would see how these guys are all young and friendly too. Bobby is the rowdy one but he is the most open to going around, sharing food and making friends with new people. B.I is really calm and stuff. Bobby dissed a lot of rappers and this video was taken back in 2014 (when the whole diss thing was blown out of proportion) so people gets more intimidated to talk to such a person with such strong personality. Not to mention how YG artists only hangs with YG artist too, the gap is just too big. These people are only trainees and rookies yet they are being treated like royalty thanks to YG's biased love towards his male idols. I do wish iKON would make more friends but it is hard because their level is different. They were already so famous as trainees and they have big seniors like Big Bang backing them up. Its hard to not get intimidated. They don't lip sync, they are never over worked like those small companies artists since YG has a lot of stable artists to back their company up, and they composed all of their songs. These guys are genuinely artists. They are not idol. Thats why its rare for YG artists to be friends with idols outside SM and JYP because the gap is too big. Bobby and Mino has a lot of friends outside YG (in the rap industry) so I am pretty sure Bobby and Mino is an exception. For the others, I can't say. I have never saw any of them being particularly close to other idols.
Ikonics would disagree. YG makes iKon work like they will die the next day. Of course YG is intimidating but that is basically because Bigbang and 2NE1 had a disconnect after people of their age and time started fading and juniors took over kpop for the most part. iKon genuinely try to be friendly with everyone. Mino is friends with khiphop rappers and Bobby is like seungri, making friends with idols as much as he can even though he should be the most intimidating one. He tries to be welcoming and shares his food and drinks with idols on shows. They are putting in effort to fit in now. I hope people give them more chance. GD genuinely sounds frustrated that people don't approach them and it gets lonely and BB has been around for 10 years. Bigbang never made friends because all of them are awkward in social gatherings except for Seungri and Daesung to some extent. I don't wish for the new kids to feel left out.

I loved the MAMA show this year. Last year's had a lot of awkward or dull moments, and most of the kpop stars were so serious. This year had a really young, fun vibe, which had a lot to do with the excellent performances, particularly from Bobby and the other rappers. It's nice to see someone bring a really excited energy to it, especially because we all know we'd be sitting in the crowd, dancing around to "Good Boy," too. XD

I loved the MAMA show this year. Last year's had a lot of awkward or dull moments, and most of the kpop stars were so serious. This year had a really young, fun vibe, which had a lot to do with the excellent performances, particularly from Bobby and the other rappers. It's nice to see someone bring a really excited energy to it, especially because we all know we'd be sitting in the crowd, dancing around to "Good Boy," too. XD

But most of them looked pretty unhappy and bored last year, too; it was pretty annoying to see them looking like that in the crowd. The people in the background (not sure about Xumin but for sure Tao and Lay and Jimin are) are actually BIGBANG fanboys too. They're probably just not feeling well. I mean, if you've seen the fancam, Chanyeol actually threw up (I didn't see him throwing up but he did look like he'd pass out any moment) during their performance so I'm pretty sure his members felt like shit too and some said Jimin was down cause he messed up during their performance.
