Personally, I think Clem's story should only continue under a couple conditions: 1. Her comics are officially recognized as Noncanon or are retconned so that she returns to Ericson 2. She and the Ericson kids are side characters that the plot and choices have no effect on whatsoever 3. We get more of her story from the times between games, like between seasons 1 and 2, 2 and 3, etc 4. A day-in-the-life style DLC where we just see her and AJ living their best lives at Ericson with their friends Unless one of these happen, I think Clem's story should stay well and truly finished after Take Us Back
I'd love a slice of life little game where you just do day to day stuff as AJ, and have friendship meters with the Ericson gang. No large threats like Lilly, no characters die, just defending the school from walkers, making the school like you, and hunting, fishing. Maybe if a story is needed they could battle a horde, but a small game could be awesome.

I'd love to see some flashback DLC or mini series where it shows stuff from the past. Like the first few days where Sandra gets bit and the 2 nights clem spends alone. Something from the 3 month time jump between S1 EP1 and EP2. And then maybe stuff from the time she spent with Christa after Omid was killed before S2 takes place. Stuff like that. Basically just stuff that doesn't change the future, just fills in some of the blanks of the past.
That song in the background.. "Safe and Sound...." It just brings back sad memories. I can look at any other scene of the Walking dead game except the last 2 episodes especially with this playing.. I dont even wanna hear it anymore now.. Tears just start streaming down my face when that masterpiece plays.. I have no idea what TellTale and Skybound did to this game but this game really affected my emotions and many players. No game EVER has captured the emotions of the player like this..We all shed a tear in the barn scene when Clem and AJ are surrounded. That really messed most of us up. Then Clem coming back too and alive? That was heartbreaking and soothing.. Clem losing her leg, also heartbreaking.. Then Clem coming back in a comic? Hated the art style but I loved that at least Clem exists somewhere. If they wont do a Season 5 then at least an animated adaptation using the same art style would be better. Anything!!
This comic has made me lose 99% of my interest in this game and Clementine's future, which is definitely super painful for me as this is my favorite franchise of all time. It's just hard, and I'm angry. I don't know why Skybound and the creators of this comic are so tone-deaf.

Since the comics pissed me off I am writing my own fan fiction continuing from the ending of the games and having a whole story laid out for a possible season 5, introducing 5 new characters, and having some returning characters from Season 2 of the game. My writing is 10X better than Tillie's, and I kept the character's personality from the games to my written story. Even the dialogue between my characters is better. I have an ending plot and thought out of the falling action but need to write the in-between actions of it before I conclude it. But it will be like a new season of the games. And there is a secondary love story underneath my main one.
I forgot about that "replacement" statue. I think they're counting on that. I must be the only one that doesn't hate the first one 🙃 But anyway, I REALLY want them to leave Clementine the hell alone at this point. Clearly they don't know what they're doing. That's why you don't extend a story that already ended.
Man I would love to see a show/mini series based on what Kenny did in between seasons 1 and 2. I mean its only about 2 years of time but still, I feel like there's some story there. Or maybe something based around Lily's time between season 1 and 4. But you'd basically have to choose what's cannon for that stuff, and that might ruin the charm.
Kenny holed up in a diner until he met Sarita. Then he traveled around, heard about Wellington, walked to the ski resort then stayed there for what? A month or two? He mostly just travelled aimlessly. That’d be like asking for a series on the year Clementine traveled only with Christa, barely talking. Like, do you really want to watch people hiking in silence that badly?
Telltale's "good buddies" are ruining the perfect character Telltale made. This is really ridiculous, I get the fact that technically, Skybound was the one who finished the final season (thanks to Still Not Bitten Team for doing that in an AMAZING way), but come on they're just doing ANYTHING to get more money of the series now. They don't even care what the majority of fans think now. Also, the reviews by IGN and other teams are so full of nonsense. I'm just counting on the comics becoming non canon or Clem eventually returning to school, OR Telltale doing something later after their success. I think that it would be pretty hard if not impossible to do a tv show adaptation. In the game you get to make the choices, people will act based on what choice you did etc. And thats the hard thing to recreate. For example, if they did s2 adaptation who would they kill/let to be killed at the end. Jane or kenny?

I think they should do a game playing as 11 year old Clem taking care of AJ on her own. Then fades into the season 3 before she goes with the new frontier and then finally after the ranch rescue. I think there's potential for a good series with this. Showing how she took care of him and how she mothered him. There's a lot they could do with this and kinda helps piece things together. The bond they have is special and a game revolving around that would be awesome.
I'm hoping that at some point, TellTale returns to TWD. I'd like to see an alternate timeline where Lee was able to take his arm off in time, or where Season 2 was the true end of the series (as originally intended by the writers before the Executives forced them to extend the series). There's a RUclipsr called InColdBlood who has made hours upon hours worth videos on all the cut content for every season, and he talked about a rejected script for Season 2 where the game was intended to be a Phycological Thriller of sorts and really fuck with the players mind constantly. I think this script was the one with the rejected Dark Ending that TTG themselves talked about, where Clementine has to choose to let AJ die in the snow during a blizzard so she can live or sit beneath a tree and die with him, so it's clear that there's enough of the script written out there somewhere for a game to be made around it.
I think we need a dark pictures anthology tyle series where we get a lot more 400 days type stories or a new group maybe we run into a few charactersfrom the originals in supply runs or something
If they make another game it shouldn't be about aj or even a sequel. It should be a side story/ character story, with maybe Kenny, carver, Javier, lily, 400 days people or the cabin crew. Like a separate game with Clem not in the light just a slight reference.
Why can’t there be a game where they’ll be able to cure the walkers because it really doesn’t make sense that aj and Clem live a good life while there’s still a freaking apocalypse going on still. It doesn’t give us a sense of closing.

A new game with new characters could be cool, but people need to leave Clem alone and let her have the good ending she got.

I am a month late I just started following you and I finished the walking dead telltale definitive edition last night and may I tell you it is one of the best gaming franchises I have ever experienced season four was absolutely phenomenal. I love Clementine story and I will definitely say this. I personally agree that her story is complete. They should not add anything else to her story, when I say that I’m saying we should play us someone else I would love for them to mix season five or six if those were to actually come to reality, maybe an older version of AJ and Clementine as a side character to me that would be absolutely perfect. They can always bring back people from previous seasons previous episodes, but they have to have an actual role and actual purpose for them showing up . I do believe there will be a season five because the company along with Skybound are doing just fine and telltale games have been back on their feet for quite some time so I deeply feel like they named season four the last season was because they were going bankrupt and they wanted to release one more masterpiece but since they got everything back everything is better than how it was. I believe that they can indeed make a plot negative and bring back AJ and possibly Clementine if not Javier for another season.
Sorry for the long message. I’m just a huge fan of The Walking Dead telltale’s games lol but I am really hoping for a season five and maybe the return of AJ & Clementine time together with aj being the main focus
They should make a game to tie up any loose ends to end off or to set up a tv show adaptation that will increase revenue for the games and inspiration to make the show. One can dream tho right.
The thing about the book is that the basic concept could work. Clementine has been established as being cautious towards safety, security, and friendship. Though season four is all about her healing from all the tragedy she’s lived through, I can see her relapsing, especially with the lack of leg. But the Ericson squirts would never see her as a burden, Clementine herself though… I can see her convincing herself that she’s nothing but a liability. And leaving AJ MAY be in character for Clementine depending on your choices. In season three she can willingly give AJ to The New Frontier and Javier can tell her to leave AJ if he’s happy there. So I could see her thinking since AJ’s safe, and she’s a burden (in her own opinion, no one else’s) that she should just leave. Now what would she do if she left? That’s a bit more hard to imagine. I got a few ideas for what could have been done, but ultimately that doesn’t matter to my overall point. It could have worked, but Tilly or however you spell her name doesn’t have a great enough understanding on Clementine’s character to deliver on the basic concept.

They did clem dirty in this one all she went through between season 1 and 4 Losing lee after he kept her alive and hrlped her find her parents even jf they were to late reuniting with kenny to see him fall losibg jet new friends from yhe cabin crew her battle with thr new frontier her endless search to find the boy she lost finally finding s home snd friends at the school defeating lilly putting a stop to the delta's plans finding love with violet (or alternatively louis but i personally perfer violet so ill go with her) and then she apparently forgets all that and not only abandons Aj after all there time together and all she went through all she lost to keep him safe then later get him back but also to abandon her new homr and the friends she needed so much including violet who had finally forgiven herself for the past and found someone she loves and clrm is written to give her and the other kids thr middle finger and walk out that's not my clrmintine her story ended perfectly she found love a homr friends and had aj back in her life all her pain and loss had lead to something in the end The only way i would have wanted her story to progress is in one of 5 ways 1) between seasons 2 and 3 2) between seasons 3 and 4 3) a story where her and the school crew are side characters to a new story and are unable to be to badly affected by said story 4) just show her living her life at the school and base a story around it 5)if you really have to have her leave let violet and aj go with her maybe louis aswell but don't kill them off just to get her alone have them go on a Journey Together and build on there relationships If it isn't one of them options just leave her story let it have that happy ending where all that loss has lead to her finding that home having that special person (violet) and hsving found aj again alongside some good friends

The story of Clementine ended perfectly in the FINAL(!) Season. If you really want to release a new game, they should be about forgotten characters like Javier or Molly. Or a completely new story with new characters.
I just hope at the end of the book 3 Clem wakes up and the books stories were just a dream. Obviously it's a terrible ending but at least we could move on like it never happened

I agree twdg has mad potential as a tv series! It’s my favourite game so seeing it as a show would be amazing. Plus all the recent video game adaptations have been great! With arcane being perfect.
They can still keep the same art style as the games. I mean look at the success of Arcane League of Legends, and I am still waiting for the release of Season 2 with that Netflix show. If they are going to adapt to a tv series most likely going to choose the popular choices from the games, which might piss some fans off, but would love to see it happen.
But there is literally nothing to see, no stories to tell in Telltale’s Walking Dead games anymore. Javi might have something going on, but there’s nothing else. They’d have to make a new cast, so at that point it’d just be a show based on the comics with no connection to Clementine or her story.
@@Hewasnumber1 that is not entirely true. There is still stories to be told in this universe. Im currently in the middle of writing one as a fanfiction, and the mystery behind the caravan. You can expand the story and have AJ be the focal point and Clementine being a guide to him, and based on the route of her loving someone or remaining single. And extend the stories to the side characters of season 4 of the Ericson kids who are still alive at the end of the game and not determine deaths.
@@CKProductions-07 But just because you CAN continue the story doesn’t mean you should. Clementine’s arc is done, and unless you want to regress her in some way, she is effectively a dead character. AJ doesn’t have anything of real substance to work off of either. It’d all just be forced to continue with either of them. You look at any walking dead game and ask “where do we go from here?” and usually have an answer. Season 2 was asking who would be Clementine’s new Lee, season 3 was a new story with Clementine as a very prominent side character, and her story was about taking her first steps towards recovery after what happened in season 2. Season 4 was completing that arc, even if it wasn’t the best finale to it. Now ask: where do we go from season 4? Can you think of anything, because I can’t. Clementine’s a cripple, she’s a well-travelled survivor and is as close to truly happy she’s been in a long, long time. There is nowhere to go without character regression. As for AJ: he has nothing to work with. He isn’t hurting like Clem was, no, he’s truly content with the life he’s living. He doesn’t need to grow up, he’s ten times more capable than Clem was when she was twice his age. He doesn’t want for anything, there’s, again, nowhere for him to go at present. If there’s ever going to be a new Walking Dead game, it needs a new cast, or to return to Javier’s perspective.

I'm fine without another season, I personally believe that Clem deserves a backseat for what she has gone through I'd be interested in dlcs such as what happened to kenny after Wellington, Jane if Clem leaves her, or what the Ericson kids were like and what they went through before Clem
I just cant take this stuff man. Clem legitimately saved my life and sanity for years and I cant believe what's happening to her. She's my favorite fictional character of all fuckin' time and she doesn't deserve this bullshit. Hypothetically speaking, If they ever did make another TWD game with Clem as the main character i think the only thing that they would copy from the book series is Clementine wearing a prosthetic leg at least i wouldn't be surprised.

Tbh Tilly Walden isn't that bad of an artist, like her style fits well for kids books. But it doesn't jive with the walking dead and the choice to make the clemintine comics as something for tweens was a completely dumb move, considering the fan base for the wd games are now all grown ass adults, plus tweens these days aren't into walking dead, they like fnaf and whatever the hell markiplier is playing recently
I personally wouldn't want a show of TWDG made by any company, but definitely would love a new game. Could be with new characters, Clementine, Javier, etc. Skybound knows how much we hate the Tangerine comics/books, and they'll eventually have to realize we want a good game, not anything else. Although they're not really a company that makes games.

I think that we’ll get something in ‘24 or after, but I think that if telltales games do really well, then hopefully skybound can regroup with telltale and they finish TWD for good, cause s4 didn’t feel finished, whatsoever. If this was Daryl from the show being crapped on, then fans would go berserk, or even Rick. I personally think that they should continue AJ’s story and end Clems, then they bring Javier back. Plus I think that they should do some flashbacks of s3, particularly when she got into New Frontier. Something that could be very new is motioning the camera in and out of AJ and Javier, plus change the UI. Anyways, I think that skybound will make a game that’s based off the comics, but we’ll have to see. I think s5 will happen in 7 or 6 yrs from now, it’ll prolly make a comeback soon or get rebooted. The last of us is the best epically part one part two was good it's just the way they killed Joel was really fucked up like we know he was going to die its just the way they did it was wrong Joel should've died in combat saving ellie or Tommy not die a brutal death after saving ugly ass abby. Now we got a HBO series and so far it's doing very good they could've picked some better to play ellie but I guess we got what they thought fit well. Plus part3 it's in the work but we won't be hearing much of it till 2024 thats what I heard from some other force. This comic has made me lose 99% of my interest in this game and Clementine's future, which is definitely super painful for me as this is my favorite franchise of all time. It's just hard, and I'm angry. I don't know why Skybound and the creators of this comic are so tone-deaf.

Since the comics pissed me off I am writing my own fan fiction continuing from the ending of the games and having a whole story laid out for a possible season 5, introducing 5 new characters, and having some returning characters from Season 2 of the game. My writing is 10X better than Tillie's, and I kept the character's personality from the games to my written story. Even the dialogue between my characters is better. I have an ending plot and thought out of the falling action but need to write the in-between actions of it before I conclude it. But it will be like a new season of the games. And there is a secondary love story underneath my main one.

Man I would love to see a show/mini series based on what Kenny did in between seasons 1 and 2. I mean its only about 2 years of time but still, I feel like there's some story there. Or maybe something based around Lily's time between season 1 and 4.
But you'd basically have to choose what's cannon for that stuff, and that might ruin the charm.
Kenny holed up in a diner until he met Sarita. Then he traveled around, heard about Wellington, walked to the ski resort then stayed there for what? A month or two? He mostly just travelled aimlessly. That’d be like asking for a series on the year Clementine traveled only with Christa, barely talking.

Telltale's "good buddies" are ruining the perfect character Telltale made. This is really ridiculous, I get the fact that technically, Skybound was the one who finished the final season (thanks to Still Not Bitten Team for doing that in an AMAZING way), but come on they're just doing ANYTHING to get more money of the series now. They don't even care what the majority of fans think now. Also, the reviews by IGN and other teams are so full of nonsense. I'm just counting on the comics becoming non canon or Clem eventually returning to school, OR Telltale doing something later after their success.
Anyway, I will never consider the comics/books canon to the games.

I think that it would be pretty hard if not impossible to do a tv show adaptation. In the game you get to make the choices, people will act based on what choice you did etc. And thats the hard thing to recreate. For example, if they did s2 adaptation who would they kill/let to be killed at the end. Jane or kenny?
I would like to see the continuation of this game. Especially if it comes in the form of a game, I will buy it directly, but I think this is a bit difficult.

I think they should do a game playing as 11 year old Clem taking care of AJ on her own. Then fades into the season 3 before she goes with the new frontier and then finally after the ranch rescue. I think there's potential for a good series with this. Showing how she took care of him and how she mothered him. There's a lot they could do with this and kinda helps piece things together. The bond they have is special and a game revolving around that would be awesome.

I'm hoping that at some point, TellTale returns to TWD. I'd like to see an alternate timeline where Lee was able to take his arm off in time, or where Season 2 was the true end of the series (as originally intended by the writers before the Executives forced them to extend the series). There's a RUclipsr called InColdBlood who has made hours upon hours worth videos on all the cut content for every season, and he talked about a rejected script for Season 2 where the game was intended to be a Phycological Thriller of sorts and really fuck with the players mind constantly. I think this script was the one with the rejected Dark Ending that TTG themselves talked about, where Clementine has to choose to let AJ die in the snow during a blizzard so she can live or sit beneath a tree and die with him, so it's clear that there's enough of the script written out there somewhere for a game to be made around it.
I think we need a dark pictures anthology tyle series where we get a lot more 400 days type stories or a new group maybe we run into a few charactersfrom the originals in supply runs or something

I am a month late I just started following you and I finished the walking dead telltale definitive edition last night and may I tell you it is one of the best gaming franchises I have ever experienced season four was absolutely phenomenal. I love Clementine story and I will definitely say this. I personally agree that her story is complete. They should not add anything else to her story, when I say that I’m saying we should play us someone else I would love for them to mix season five or six if those were to actually come to reality, maybe an older version of AJ and Clementine as a side character to me that would be absolutely perfect. They can always bring back people from previous seasons previous episodes, but they have to have an actual role and actual purpose for them showing up .
I do believe there will be a season five because the company along with Skybound are doing just fine and telltale games have been back on their feet for quite some time so I deeply feel like they named season four the last season was because they were going bankrupt and they wanted to release one more masterpiece but since they got everything back everything is better than how it was. I believe that they can indeed make a plot negative and bring back AJ and possibly Clementine if not Javier for another season.
Sorry for the long message. I’m just a huge fan of The Walking Dead telltale’s games lol but I am really hoping for a season five and maybe the return of AJ & Clementine time together with aj being the main focus

The thing about the book is that the basic concept could work. Clementine has been established as being cautious towards safety, security, and friendship. Though season four is all about her healing from all the tragedy she’s lived through, I can see her relapsing, especially with the lack of leg. But the Ericson squirts would never see her as a burden, Clementine herself though… I can see her convincing herself that she’s nothing but a liability.
And leaving AJ MAY be in character for Clementine depending on your choices. In season three she can willingly give AJ to The New Frontier and Javier can tell her to leave AJ if he’s happy there. So I could see her thinking since AJ’s safe, and she’s a burden (in her own opinion, no one else’s) that she should just leave.
Now what would she do if she left? That’s a bit more hard to imagine. I got a few ideas for what could have been done, but ultimately that doesn’t matter to my overall point. It could have worked, but Tilly or however you spell her name doesn’t have a great enough understanding on Clementine’s character to deliver on the basic concept.
And the book should definitely end with her going back to Ericson’s. (Or maybe Richmond, see how Javi’s doing)
As long as it ends with her home we will be happy!

They did clem dirty in this one all she went through between season 1 and 4
Losing lee after he kept her alive and hrlped her find her parents even jf they were to late reuniting with kenny to see him fall losibg jet new friends from yhe cabin crew her battle with thr new frontier her endless search to find the boy she lost finally finding s home snd friends at the school defeating lilly putting a stop to the delta's plans finding love with violet (or alternatively louis but i personally perfer violet so ill go with her) and then she apparently forgets all that and not only abandons Aj after all there time together and all she went through all she lost to keep him safe then later get him back but also to abandon her new homr and the friends she needed so much including violet who had finally forgiven herself for the past and found someone she loves and clrm is written to give her and the other kids thr middle finger and walk out that's not my clrmintine her story ended perfectly she found love a homr friends and had aj back in her life all her pain and loss had lead to something in the end
The only way i would have wanted her story to progress is in one of 5 ways
1) between seasons 2 and 3
2) between seasons 3 and 4
3) a story where her and the school crew are side characters to a new story and are unable to be to badly affected by said story
4) just show her living her life at the school and base a story around it
5)if you really have to have her leave let violet and aj go with her maybe louis aswell but don't kill them off just to get her alone have them go on a
Journey Together and build on there relationships
If it isn't one of them options just leave her story let it have that happy ending where all that loss has lead to her finding that home having that special person (violet) and hsving found aj again alongside some good friends

They can still keep the same art style as the games. I mean look at the success of Arcane League of Legends, and I am still waiting for the release of Season 2 with that Netflix show. If they are going to adapt to a tv series most likely going to choose the popular choices from the games, which might piss some fans off, but would love to see it happen.
But there is literally nothing to see, no stories to tell in Telltale’s Walking Dead games anymore. Javi might have something going on, but there’s nothing else. They’d have to make a new cast, so at that point it’d just be a show based on the comics with no connection to Clementine or her story.
@@Hewasnumber1 that is not entirely true. There is still stories to be told in this universe. Im currently in the middle of writing one as a fanfiction, and the mystery behind the caravan. You can expand the story and have AJ be the focal point and Clementine being a guide to him, and based on the route of her loving someone or remaining single. And extend the stories to the side characters of season 4 of the Ericson kids who are still alive at the end of the game and not determine deaths.
@@CKProductions-07 But just because you CAN continue the story doesn’t mean you should. Clementine’s arc is done, and unless you want to regress her in some way, she is effectively a dead character. AJ doesn’t have anything of real substance to work off of either. It’d all just be forced to continue with either of them.
You look at any walking dead game and ask “where do we go from here?” and usually have an answer. Season 2 was asking who would be Clementine’s new Lee, season 3 was a new story with Clementine as a very prominent side character, and her story was about taking her first steps towards recovery after what happened in season 2. Season 4 was completing that arc, even if it wasn’t the best finale to it.
Now ask: where do we go from season 4? Can you think of anything, because I can’t. Clementine’s a cripple, she’s a well-travelled survivor and is as close to truly happy she’s been in a long, long time. There is nowhere to go without character regression.
As for AJ: he has nothing to work with. He isn’t hurting like Clem was, no, he’s truly content with the life he’s living. He doesn’t need to grow up, he’s ten times more capable than Clem was when she was twice his age. He doesn’t want for anything, there’s, again, nowhere for him to go at present.
If there’s ever going to be a new Walking Dead game, it needs a new cast, or to return to Javier’s perspective.

Tbh Tilly Walden isn't that bad of an artist, like her style fits well for kids books. But it doesn't jive with the walking dead and the choice to make the clemintine comics as something for tweens was a completely dumb move, considering the fan base for the wd games are now all grown ass adults, plus tweens these days aren't into walking dead, they like fnaf and whatever the hell markiplier is playing recently

The last of us is the best epically part one part two was good it's just the way they killed Joel was really fucked up like we know he was going to die its just the way they did it was wrong Joel should've died in combat saving ellie or Tommy not die a brutal death after saving ugly ass abby. Now we got a HBO series and so far it's doing very good they could've picked some better to play ellie but I guess we got what they thought fit well. Plus part3 it's in the work but we won't be hearing much of it till 2024 thats what I heard from some other force.
