Good Evening This is Peter here to review the above Video clip Starting with The Drummers Call Land of my fathers played by The Combined Corps of Drums from the Grenadier and Welsh Guards this leads to the Massed Bands of the Guards Division who start their Display with Sir William Walton's Prelude to Richard 111 followed by Wellington then The Massed Pipes and drums join the Massed Bands in a Quick March The 79th's Fairwell to Gilbralter which leads into a Medley of Scotish Tunes where The Pipers are Joined by Scotish Country Dancers who have never been seen on Horse Guards This is the 1st Time they have been used as Beating Retreat 2015 is celebrating the Battle of Waterloo and The Duke of Wellington and that is why Wellington was Chosen as the quick March for the first Part of the Display
Peter Eames Interesting Scottish dancers rather than Irish given he was born in Dublin. Also we were not Scots but North British at that time. England being South Britain.
