  • Nestled among the green hills of West Java is Bandung, Indonesia. Bandung has some incredible places to visit.
The White Crater (Kawah Putih) in Bandung, Indonesia, is a breathtaking natural wonder that showcases the stunning beauty of volcanic landscapes. Situated approximately 50 kilometers south of Bandung, Kawah Putih is a volcanic crater lake renowned for its surreal turquoise-colored waters and surrounding volcanic peaks.
What makes the White Crater truly unique is its striking appearance, characterized by the contrast between the vivid blue-green hue of the water and the barren, white-colored shores, which are formed by the accumulation of volcanic minerals. The result is a scene of otherworldly beauty that captivates visitors and leaves a lasting impression.
The lake's distinctive coloration is attributed to the high concentration of sulfuric compounds and other minerals present in the water, which undergo chemical reactions with volcanic gases and heat. As a result, the water takes on its mesmerizing turquoise hue, creating a surreal and almost magical ambiance.
The Great Asia Africa Park in Bandung, Indonesia, is a significant landmark commemorating the historic Asia-Africa Conference held in Bandung in 1955. This conference, also known as the Bandung Conference, was a gathering of leaders from Asian and African countries who came together to promote peace, cooperation, and solidarity among their nations.

I used to go here when I was a child and I remember I fell into one of the ponds with sticky substance 😅 thanks for bringing back beautiful memories, seems like the place has changed a lot with the fake Great Wall of China & Kyoto haha.
