Actually Rameez's final version of this was better than what we're hearing here, even though this is good. Rameez put his personal touch to this song, and that's what made it unique. After listening to his version, it is difficult to accept this version. And I am saying this as a big fan of Shafqat Amanat Ali.
Hindus have castes, Brahmin, Kayasta, etc, and they're not supposed to marry outside of their caste. Much of rural Pakistan still follows this system, despite having taken up Islam hundreds of years ago.
