Great video! The key point I took from this and what I tell everyone who is against pharmaceuticals is if it stops me from ending up in hospital or worse, then it’s worth it. Ive been on and off Imovane for 7 years and have just started back on it. Insomnia sucks and lack of sleep affects my chronic pain majorly!

Zopiclone is very addictive. Having taken it for 20 years , sleep is impossible without it. Also works well if having a panic attack during the day. Only side affect I've noticed is it makes you hungry.

Zopiclone isint addictive. Ive taken it on and off for 14 years and have had no problems stopping after taking it every night for years at a time. as long as you stay within your prescribed dosage you will have no problems. if you are taking it during the day for anxiety this is abuse and you will develop a tolerance and will require more to fall asleep. you are better off with a long lasting benzo like lorazepam for anxiety.

Just know that you won’t be able to stop taking it , make sure you have a dr to prescribe this for you in the future / forever…you will not sleep without it and you will go insane , even hard drug dependency is easier to quit and withdraw from then this because you will just not sleep no matter how tired you get and it will drain your body and soul, I mean generally the reason why people take it to begin with but the symptoms amplify by a million .. but a daily responsible stable dosage will enable you to function and feel energized and normal and is the best sleeping aid , let me tell you I’ve tried them all…so good luck ..

I am a young adult, I deal with anxiety and go through periods of depression (comes in waves every couple months or so). Honestly been worse this past year, but I think thats the case for everyone. I have never been "officially" diagnosed with anything, but it makes me feel like I have a bigger issue. Bipolar, BPD, something.. Of course, looking this up on the internet doesn't help lol. I can understand it from your situation having bipolar, though it's scary how many people are on zopiclone for a long period of time just for sleep and a few people are on crazy amounts like 4+ od nocte. I try to do my best with melatonin or if its really bad I'll use 12.5 to 25mg of promethazine.
What's your opinion on quetiapine for sleep? It's becoming a very common medicine to dispense for sleep in my country, seemingly outpacing zopiclone/promethazine/benzodiazepines

    • @kevinsayce2248
      @kevinsayce2248 8 месяцев назад

      Jakey,
      Please don’t take quetiapine
Been on Zopiclone for nearly 30 years. Heard about it being addictive so tried using quetiapine. It was a total disaster.
It made me zombie awake, docile even though I was aware of everything.
Took me a long while to get it out of my system.
Each to their own but from my experiences, I would give it a miss.
Yes Zoplicone makes it very difficult to come off it, but I’ve found that cutting the tablet in half and taking two paracetomol lessens the downside.
It’s all about finding the right combo for you - but NOT quetiapine

I can only talk from my experience, but I don't find them to be as dangerous as people make it out to be. I can sleep just fine without them when I'm not on night shift, but it's nice to have something that helps you fall asleep quickly.
Don't take it daily though or for an extended period of time. If you take it daily for some time then let it taper off for 2-4 weeks to lose tolerance.

Another brit here. I'm in the same situation as you, but not as severe. I can achieve 8 hours but do get anxiety/stress triggers which will affect my sleep and remind me that I still can relapse into sleeping issues. Speak to your doctor, get medication and an appointment with a sleep therapist for CBTi.

I had the benefit of living with a veteran for years and he always had these or others on hand.
I get Zolpidem from my Dr - despite that being the one with a bad rap here for awhile (Australia). I found Imovane a good general one but she’s not keen for prescribing that one for some reason. Stillnox can mean some weird stuff happened. I try to keep my phone out of reach on the Zolpidem

Are you in Canada? You can’t get Zopiclone in the US. I miss Zopiclone so much, it has much less of a narcotic feel than Lunesta and Ambien. It is not the same as Lunesta. Zopiclone also works better than Lunesta for sleep in my experience. If you are in US please hint at how you got it!

      Hello.
There is help available for tinnitus (I have learned from the RUclips chanel "Liam stop tinnitus" so many things)
I am 32 y old and I got it about 6 weeks ago but I see already good improvement.
Please do the things I am advising you:
      1) Eliminate all your sugar intake, drop out bread, pasta, Rice and other carbohydrates
      2) Cut out alcohol and other recreational drugs
      3) cut out fruits as much as possible
      4) reduce the salt intake as much as possible
      5) drink only clean water (no tap water anymore)
      6) do moderate exercise in gym every week
      7) Eat the following: any kind of meat, fish, eggs, organs and liver only with small quantities of vegetables
      8) the most important thing in this cure is to keep fasting as much as possible (no food and if possible no water for 36-48 hours).
You can do like myself: 24 hours no food, no water and I continue 12-24 hours more of drinking only clean water.
If you can go even 72 hours with fasting (drink only water if needed) then it is even better.
      9) some guys are using very cold showers which seems to work as well.
Tinnitus is not for life sir!
      We can get silence.
Keep these and I promise to get better.
      Best wishes.

Not sure if I should say this but I feel I should write my experience from being given Zopiclone literally like 7 hours ago.
I just did a heavy 2 day cocaine binge, my friend gave me 10mgs of zopiclone at 7am UK time, I fell straight to sleep and I have 0 anxiety or depression today, which I usually have on a day to day basis, and it’s almost unbearable on a drug come down.

    • @colhowe9743
      @colhowe9743 25 дней назад

I spent the better part of 5 years doing cocaine binges that lasted days and I also used Zopiclone on occasion to sleep. Anyhow, what you mentioned doing is the path to hell. No amount of coke is worth the comedown and the wasted money and time. You will lose yourself slowly if you keep doing it and you will fail in life as you throw away your potential. I got fed up with it and then left every environment and connection that It had on my life and slowly turned my like into a success. I have my dream job, I earn very well and I am happy and fulfilled. Ideally stay clean of everything (including booze) and find a positive hobby. Reinvent yourself.
