Thank you for your comments. So you gently pry (up or out) on the center of the black plastic pins. In doing this, you will be releasing the mechanisms that expand and hold the pins in place. Also, most bike repair shops and motorcycle retail places like CycleGear will have packets of replacement pins . I hope this helps you.
