I'd like to make some more - problem is they get really long and repetitive - not exactly super engaging content. Still, powerful tools, so more incoming!
This is great. I have been searching for a good tutorial con something like this. Have been struggling trying to make or find a GOOD door component. One that includes properties por layout visualisation like dotted lines in plan view. After this, I might get it right. Thanks man.
Yes please. Cabinet sense is very powerful but comes at a cost. These a gap for something a little less complex. I don’t need the full output for cnc but just something to make quick designs and estimates. Having a simple dropdown menu for base, upper and high level display cabs would be amazing. Face frames and full overlay. I think Ikeas range is a good starting place.
Hi Justin I really enjoy your videos they are very helpful, do you have any on when I send cabinet components to a cut list extension the width stays width not changes to length
When you draw identical objects name them the same component name. When the drawing of the component is complete, then name each one Left and Right or Upper and Lower. Save time drawing.
Not really - I'd use a piece modeled to the angle you want and tack it on to the end of a rectangular shape, so that it just moves, it doesn't streatch
Hello, could you please help us adding all the necessary connector holes to the panels as dynamic components. this will help getting all the panel details done one time by CNC. Thank you
Is it possible to make dynamic cabinet with toe kick notch on cabinet sides instead of separate toe kick So toe kick height and depth stays consistent like 4 x 3
@Thesketchupessentials hi, could you suggest how to make transition between square and hexagon? I need to make something like a piramyde with square base with round corners and flat hexagon top, also with round corners. It`s actually blowing my mind, because all extensions I know didn`t help. 😵💫
Hey Justin! I followed every step and yet when I attempt to scale the component, it changes the sizes of the attributes I have set. Hope you can help. :)
Yes please make detailed dynamic component videos, it’s such a powerful feature.

The CabinetSense plugin for Sketchup is an awesome cabinetry plugin - You might want to do a video on it one day.

Hi everyone! Let me know if you'd be interested in a video on picking dimensions from a dropdown for your cabinets in the comments below! :)

Thank you very much, is there a tool to keep parts with shapes like mitre joints in the same shape after scaling or change dimensions

Great stuff! More please!
Tnx a million😍

Amazing as usual!
Great video, thank you very much pal
No problem 👍
Thank you, always enjoy your videos. But, wow, is this confusing. Makes learning parametric modeling in FS360 look easy!

Not sure how to help with this level of information - make start with a simple single shape and see if you can get that working too?
@@Thesketchupessentials Hi Justin! Thanks for answering. Once I made each part a group first and then a component, it seems to be working.
It doesn't work for me :(. I set the value for thickness but my components are still stretching when I scale them..
