I believe Tarot of the Gnomes is a reissue of an older Lo Scarabeo deck, hence all the languages in the border. They've been reissuing a few other older decks (like the Fairy Tarot also listed here) but those all had the borders removed or else cleaned up so I'm surprised they left them on. But maybe I'm mistaken.
The other polaroid style deck was by the same creator as the Wild Lands Tarot and was called the True North Tarot (and is now OOP). Oh, and the Liberation Tarot was a Kickstarter so if anybody wants to see some images they can still be found there.
The (In)ner Tarot is just a book for now, which I’ve already pre-ordered and I’m excited to read! I learned tarot from the author and think you would love her approach. I thought I heard whispers of a companion deck, but not sure when that would be released.
Oooh thanks for letting me know! The concept of an inner tarot definitely sound like something I would like, makes sense that it is a book! Would love to know if you like it 🥰😊
I think tarot of the gnomes and the Fairy tarot are new versions of already existing tarot decks by the same names. The titles on the cards have been reworked.
The Afro Goddess Tarot Arcana came out back in 2018/2019? It was indie. I was wondering where the creator went. I'm guessing now it will be available again via a big press. I'm sure it will be lesser quality because the first and second editions were amazing! We'll see once March hits, I guess.
I believe The tarot deck you are thinking of that is Polaroid Style is called True North. It looks like it was rebranded (same publishing company) to Wild Lands :)
The Crystal blessing deck feels like a chat gtp blurb with a generic photo. It makes me sad that we have to be so wary of which decks are made with/by AI these days - I wish people had to disclose it.
I don't think that this deck was necessarily made with AI but I understand your frustration. I know that Amazon KDP requires authors to answer a question about whether any part of their book was made with AI, but I'm not sure 1) if that even shows on the product page, and 2) if deck sellers have to answer that question too. 🤔 Only time will tell!
I can’t imagine having a deck with so many different artists. I’m actually very excited about a tarot deck that comes out in March so I’m skipping everything else. Thanks for a look!
Gnomes and Fairy Tarot decks are just 're-makes' / re-releases of older editions by Lo Scarbeo. Not sure what changes have been made other than the packaging so far but I will most likely get them anyway as I got the older sets and the larger boxed set versions too which I absolutely adore. 'Wild lands' is the same creator that did the indie deck you were thinking about.. 'True North Tarot' which I have multiple copies of as I just love it. And she also did the earlier and rarer indie deck Dreamweaver Tarot (again I absolutely love and can't see me getting rid of anytime either). I'm not sure if she has split ways with her creative partner who was also behind the aforementioned decks as all the signage has changed on her Etsy shop and this new deck too (which is almost identical to their previous ones) is just in her name now?? Anyhoo, great video lovely! x
Yeah, I want keywords or a sentence on oracle cards aswell.. The Mystic Palette Tarot decks catches my eye, both are beautiful, would maby prefer the colorful one..
My wife and I recently got back into neopets after accidentally watching a long neopets video by "theamandafiles". There's quite a few different things to do. My main thing is getting cute clothes and backgrounds to dress my pets up. I'm currently working on getting different library/witchy backgrounds to turn all six of my pets into cool witch librarians lol. My wife is mostly into the battle and gaming elements. The fairies are not adoptable pets, they are kind of the runners of neopets world. I did preorder the deck and I'm 99% sure its the MM version of the indie (?) neopets deck put out "geekify", at least the one card looks the same.
Commenting as I watch lol: I loved dress up games as a kid! There was this one website that had a ton of them. It's sad that we have to second guess if something is AI or not. That polaroid deck looks like that one spherical deck (can't remember the name either lol). I have the indie version of the Messages from Her deck and it's brilliant! The variety of women is great. MJ Cullinane has a similar deck if you're interested called the Roar Oracle.
Animals are my specialty, and an animal deck with keywords throws me off. General animal symbolism varies culture by culture, and there are a lot of things each animal can mean. So one or two keywords isn't really enough. Animals are also super personal, and a keyword on a card can confuse things. I have more success with animal decks if I think more about how the animal lives in nature and get messages and symbolism from that (like how owls fly silently, or how they're nocturnal, or how they can turn their heads around so far...) I just looked more into that Spirit Animal deck and the back of the cards is a full explanation with affirmations. So they have a lot more than keywords, and no pattern/art on the back of the cards.
The 'Liberation" deck looked cool until I saw that it is a vehicle to shove radical preaching down your throat. 'hetro normative capitalist patriarchy...??" Yeah I know capitalism sucks etc but this deck would be a HARD NO.

Yep I just came here to say this.

Yess that’s the deck I was thinking about! Such a cute concept. Oooh thanks for that, good idea!
The indy deck you’re thinking of for Wild Lands (Polaroid style) is called True North tarot

Aaah makes sense!
3:27 This is a Lo Scarabeo deck. They are famously known for having multi-lingual text on their cards. So, not really surprised by this.
True but this felt excessive, even for lo scarabeo!
@@TarotwithRuby Eh, maybe, maybe not because some of their older decks have more languages.
@@TarotwithRubyAll their older decks had 4 (or was it 6?) languages on the borders, top and bottom.

Ooo, what deck?
@@priscillastarotcorner Black Seed Tarot. It’s a US Games deck. It’s from the same creator as White Sage Tarot. It’s a super cute animal deck.
@d.m.3133 Oh yessss!! I want that too. I still need to get her oracles 😭
Omg that deck looks so cuuute! There are a lot of decks coming out later this year that I’m excited for but so far my wallet has been safe haha
The Wild Lands tarot will be fantastic to take on vacation as you travel. You could pull a card each day for inspiration.

Gift of life tarot is a photograph deck that I found really nice and easy to connect with the people on the cards !
The Wild lands tarot looks like the rosebud tarot was indie now mass market. Both are beautiful!
Yeah, I want keywords or a sentence on oracle cards aswell.. The Mystic Palette Tarot decks catches my eye, both are beautiful, would maby prefer the colorful one..
The guy who did the Spirit Animals has a couple other pretty popular animal decks as well as regular oracles. Should be worth it.

I think the Liberation Tarot is a bit like the Alleyman tarot.

Okay, why don't we have a The Sims tarot deck yet?!
OMG that'd be so cool!
'The Inner Tarot' seems to be just a book and not a deck.
