    Maan lijiye ki koi + aur - charge kisi R distance pr hai to waha pr potential energy ghatega agr work system kr rha hai to, but hmlogo ko ye bhi to dekhna chahiye ki jaise jaise P.E ghat rha hai waise waise wo dono charges ke bich me dist. (R) bhi to kam ho rha hai , aur kyuki (R) kam ho rha hai to P.E to badhna chahiye as P.E is inversely proportional to R...

    Me Jab Thermoelectric effects padh raha tha tab mujhe thoda samjhne me dikkat horaha tha jaise Seebeck' Effect , Thomson's effect aur Peltier effect toh mene aapke channel pe gaya toh mujhe videos nahi mila .

    Sir but when is negative work possible in this case of electrostatics?
    Force and displacement ka direction toh same hai for all cases.

      If electric force is attractive and external agent is moving the test charge away from the source charge.
      Or when force is repulsive but external agent is moving the test charge towards the source charge.
      In simple when work is done against the electric force then there will be increase in potential energy.
      If there is a movement in charges due to own attractive or repulsive force then potential energy will be negative.

    Sir agar ham kahe ki electric field me kisi point par electric potential ye hota ki us point pe kisi bhi charge pe electrostatic force kitna jayada hoga

      Electrostatic force is negative gradient of electric potential.
      Easy meaning is - force is in the opposite direction of maximum change (increment) of potential w.r.t. space. And the magnitude of the force is the rate of change in potential in that direction.
