- Running low water Itunda Falls on the White Nile, Uganda.
I'm paddling a 2014 large Jackson Rockstar. I was pretty nervous about running this one but after many mornings of using salt and pepper shakers at breakfast to practise the line in my head, I decided to go for it. No regrets!
Looks great- unfortunately for me I am now 70 but I still can paddle a sea kayak! Keep 'Going for it' and be safe!
You could do that in a sea kayak no problem! I've seen people paddle sea kayaks through way bigger water then Itanda Falls, you should still go for it dude!
Croc bait
Afraid you’re right 😔. This is how Hendri Coetzee met his end.
Damnnnthose crocs must be hella strong then
They don’t have to be. They just need to grab ahold of you.
@@vexx7714 nile crocs' bite force can be as much as 5,000 pounds per square inch (psi). so, yeah.
That was so sick! Always wanted to paddle this, but gonna be a long time before I can afford a paddling trip to Africa. As a side note, I don't think I've seen a single kayaker ever run Itanda Falls in a creeker, or even half slice. Is it some sort of unwritten rule that you HAVE to paddle a full slice on the White Nile? Lmfao I'd be freaking in water that big paddling a full slice...
I think it’s because most people want to surf the Nile special and don’t want to rent multiple boats!
Nice good job man
Thanks!
Can I ask why? Don't cry when croc tips u over or a hippo
