I absolutely love Teresa Wentzler! So fun to see your stash! I have quite a few myself. I made the wedding sampler for good friends back in the 90’s and also made the treetop sampler for my mom. Both are still hanging in their respective homes to this day. One day I will stitch a Teresa Wentzler just for me, just can’t decide which one…might be the English cottage sampler.
So fun! There were a few that I hadn’t seen before. The ones I like but don’t have yet are Tapestry Cat, Fantasy Sampler and the teapot one. I have Noah’s Ark and I’m tempted by that one sometimes. I also have a series of small seasonal band samplers by her that I’d love to stitch sometime. So many great options! 😍
HI! Samantha the Hygge Stitcher sent me here! Loved viewing your collection and stitching! I've stitched Rapunzel and all the minis, and recently started Fantasy Triptych. Thanks for sharing! 🧵🪡💙
Impressive collection! I would suggest that you create a wipgo board just for your TW projects, that way you will be able to touch each one in your stitching year.
Wonderful to see so many of Teresa’s patterns. When I first started in cross stitch I purchased so many of her patterns, but only started English Garden Sampler. I got busy with work and kids and only returned to the art in Aug of 2022, 30 years later. You have inspired me to pull some patterns out and start stitching. Thank You for sharing your time and love of Teresa Wentzler patterns with the community. You very much succeeded in enabling me. I just bought three of her patterns today.
Amy, You enabled me during Pam's call to kit up Woodland Faerie which I have and plan to start as soon as I complete my goals for this year. But NOW, look what you have done.....I spent hours (why I am still watching your video the next day) last night searching for The Fortunate Traveller and also some of the dragon ones. Didn't find a Fortunate Traveller, but found others which I am going to resist until I have at least started Woodland. However, this video is making my fingers itch....ha, ha. What is weird and also cool, is it seems every channel I am watching is starting to talk about Teresa Wentzler. I will let you know how it is going once I start my Woodland. Great seeing you rummage through all of these....thank you.
I met some of my local stitchy friends on the TW bulletin board ages ago. Her designs have always been a favorite. I have Wedding Sampler among my WIPs (started it for my June 2000 wedding bu did not get finished before the wedding or the divorce. I also have Millennium that was started in the late 90’s still ongoing. Another WIP is Castles by the Sea that I started this year. And Delightful Dragon Fob was also started this year. I’ve completed: You Were Hatched, Stretch, Carousel (with a border that was shared on the TWBB), and Tempest, just to name a few. Like you, TW and Dragon Dreams were my favorite designers for a very long time. I took a 15 year break from stitching due to being obsessed with riding motorcycles and was heart broken to learn they had both stopped designing during my break.
One more comment. It is later in the afternoon, and I was sorting through a box of donations at the Thrift shop I volunteer at and found 2 TW Patterns. One is Dreamscape Chestnut and the other is Dreamscape Carousel. Not sure I will ever stitch them, but I will hold them for now. Hope you are getting your stitchy bug back. I lost mine for awhile, but am fully back with the weather getting colder.
What a lovely trip down memory lane ❤ My gateway back into cross stitch was Noah’s Ark which I bought as a kit from AC Moore and finished in 2004. Since then I’ve stitched Mermaid, Romeo and Juliet, and Rapunzel, along with some ornaments. I’m about to start Tradewinds by request from my husband, and Lady of Shallot is probably next in line. I’m a monogamous stitcher when it comes to TW but I loved seeing all your WIPs 😊
Yay, another Wentzler fan! I, too have a bunch. I have only started the Fruit Bell Pull. I love her work and have many patterns. The only kit I bought was Millenium. Beautiful work. I'm so glad I found another Wentzler fan.
I have several patterns by TW as well. I finished the Princess and the Dragon earlier this year and have been debating which one I want to start next. Probably either the Fantasy Triptych or Noah's Ark. Thank you for the video.
you asked for suggestions - I would put them in order of “almost finished” to “barely started”. Then only pull out 3-4 of the “almost finished” while you put the rest in a closet. When you finish 1 of those, reward yourself with pulling out the next project that is patiently waiting its turn.
So fun! I had no idea some of these existed. I love the legends of the magic casters. Gonna have to look for that one. I'll be starting Egyptian Sampler soon!
Back in the Stone Age I was in a TW Bulletin Board/News Group. I had both of the Fantasy Collection books, but gave them away ages ago. I tried to stitch Stroke of Midnight and hated it. I totally forgot that I stitched Above the Clouds ( big dragon over small castle ) until you showed your book. No clue where it is or who I gave it to. I gave Stretch to my niece, and 4 of the rocking horses to a charity that was making a wall-hanging to auction off. Many years later I am finishing off the last 2 rocking horses ( Trotter and Diamond ).
I have got Magical night. Had done a copy of the chart to get ready...and never started😅 looking at the chart that is hand charted, with all fractionals, douzens of colors..I get frustrated every time 😢

I purchased Tradewinds kit and the Egyptian Sampler. I searched for the Fortunate Traveler but could not find the pattern.

Thanks for showing all the Teresa Wentzlers. Some of those I've never seen before! Beautiful!
Beautiful pieces! I've never stitched a TW, but was really intrigued by the school house. It looked soooooo lovely.❤❤

I did the Camelot sampler back in the 90s...gave Arthur a goatee and changed their eye color from brown to blue and green. It's a gorgeous piece!
