So simple, im subscribing. Cheers 🍻
Cheers Doug!
I'm doing rhubarb cider wirh Ginger Bugs as a natural yeast, thanks for the video.
Sounds great D.V let me know how it goes please
What did you do before the vid starts I think you put sugar on it and left it?
Yes, I poured sugar over it and left it, think this info might be in the first video part 1
It isn't, the last video ends with you putting it in the freezer!
I HOPE YOU DID NOT DISCARD THE RHUBARB ONCE THE JUICE WAS EXTRACTED BY THE SUGAR. PLACE THE USED DRAINED RHUBARB ON PARCHMENT PAPER AND PUT OUT IN THE SUN OR IN THE OVEN ON LOW OR IN A DEHYDRATOR, THE RESULT IS AN AMAZING CANDIED FRUIT AND ANY WAIST IS KEPT TO A MINIMUM.
Alright mate, so I've copied this recipe and the top of my demijohn seams to have filled up with like a thick brown foam. The airlock isn't really doing anything either? Any ideas please?
Evening Shaun, get shot of the brown foam and bang a little yeast nutrient in to see if it reactivates the yeast, let me know how you go on with it mate.
Thanks mate all seems to be normal now, my mother just picked a hole through the brown foam and it sink and the normal air bubbles started coming through my airlock now 😁 happy days. How long will the cider take to brew? Will I need some grolsh style bottles?
