Kenny McPeek catches up with Scott Hazelton to discuss 2024 Kentucky Derby winner Mystik Dan. He will aim to claim the second jewel of the Triple Crown in the May 18th Preakness Stakes. - Спорт
Glad Ken has him all. He led-out! Looking forward to him in the Preakness.
Love this little push button horse
So here’s the thing. His horse won the Derby. The horse came out of it ok and the vets gave signed off. He must feel obligated and I don’t blame him. So all of racing hold hands on one simple change. First Saturday in May, June and July.
Learned fact Health Everything ❤️
I had Mystik Dan in the Derby....I feel the Preakness needs to be moved back to 3 to 4 weeks period....If they truly care about the horses like the Industry says it does they would put the Horse before the old out dated traditions.
Love him or hate him Bob Baffert is going to make a statement in the Preakness…………….
Bob Baffert = Baphomet...😅😅
R u sure ?
I hate the pressure he is in to run wish him the best but I personally don't think he hits top 3 athlete first not fans or media it never works out
I love this colt and trainer combination but I hate to see any horse pushed to the Preakness 2 weeks after the Derby. The Preakness needs to be backed up and give the Derby horses adequate time to recover. Many horses like MD only just turned 3 in real time and this is pushing tbese colts too hard imho. MD needs to watch out for Baffert's talented Muth. His last race's speed rating was 115. Baffert always jokes that he loves to go to the Preakness inferring it is an easier race to win. Baffert is the most successful trainer in Preakness history with eight victories in 26 starts. Five of those wins came with horses who won the Kentucky Derby and continued on to Baltimore.
Nice colt, wont get rail trip if he goes this time i would speculate...he ran 36 less feet than FY and 23 less feet than SL....
It's fairly common for the Derby winner to run in the Preakness. MD may have ran a shorter distance but he was near the pace and had something at the top of the stretch. Dangerous...still.
Very good horse man.
